  • Oooooooo! I was wondering about "hello" and "goodbye" because I thought they sounded EXACTLY THE SAME. Now I know that they are, in fact, exactly the same. Thank you for this! And correct me if I'm wrong, but there's a difference between saying "goodbye" is the person who you're speaking to is staying or going, right?

  • @animeismiluver update* i dont think she diggs me , plus her parents mean dont digg me. everytime i go say "ahn young" they just cold stare and not smile, and i dunno. but thanks for the lesson. it makes me wanna learn more korean now. thanks. :)

  • @rockbutt123 aww. well at least your having fun with korean(:

  • @rockbutt123 if your saying it to her parents, then you have to say it in the formal version.

  • @rockbutt123 I think it's because you're saying "Anyeong" and not, "Anyeonghaseyo!" When you're talking to older foreigners, they take formality VERY seriously! For example, in Tanzania, you must acknowledge the presence of an elder (that is, anyone older than you), otherwise word will get around that you are disrespectful and you might be punished for being "rude." Same thing with Koreans. Maybe her parents felt disrespected because you said, "Anyeong." ^_^

  • THNKS cuz i have a new kid coming into school tomorrow and he is straight from south korea and doesnt kno english, only his mom.. his name is YU and he sits next to mee.... thanks cuz i have trouble with the google translate sounds like it has a LISP >.< lol baii

  • @pearlalooh95 okay and alright are basically the same word. which is arrassuh. But idk what the second word is x.x sorry.

  • @animeismiluver okaa thank you soo muchh , it helped a lot :)

  • wow...you can actually speak pretty well in english and i was surprised because i've ever been to korea before and i had difficulties to converse with the local people and now i think is getting much more better and maybe plan to go korea again. Anyhow, thanks for posting this video clip as it's very useful.

  • Mai I know u facebook name please tell me

  • Aww thanks hun. Im not actually studying Korean right now, (Im studying japanese) but i want to learn korean also!

  • @Chikokishi OMG I WISH I COULD LEARN JAP): but currently i cant find any classes that teach it D:< blahh.

  • @animeismiluver Learn it from a book. The korean syntax is very similar to japanese syntax, you won't have a hard time learning japanese.

  • @Chikokishi It should be easier for people who are learning Japanese becauseI hear the grammar of Korean and Japanese languages are very similar.

  • @randomguyxx1 They are, they sound similar also. Which is perhaps why i like Korean also. Im going to learn Japanese, hopefully move to Japan, and study Korean there.

  • @Chikokishi Really? they teach Korean language in Japan?

  • @randomguyxx1 Of course, the countries are right beside each other, Many Japanese go to Korea and vice versa.

  • @Chikokishi Oh, yeah, of course.

  • you dont even know how helpful this video was for me in taekwondo lol :)

  • X) thank you ... this helps!

  • @zephyrkev ahaah glad to be of service(:

  • lol I bet anybody might know how to say hello and goodbye in Korean as much as they how to say hello and goodbye in Japanese, Spanish, French, or Mandarin. Maybe you should teach us how to say sentences instead of words in Korean? Anyways, gomapsumida for this pointless tutorial!! lol jk :D

and ahah its ok if your not koream :P

i love jap. stuff but im not jap...i think..

cuz my grandpa was born in japan but my parents dont count it cuz there's like this long speech about how asn cultures are diff and blah blah blah aha

  • annyong animeismiluver! =) I'm excited that you'll be making some of these lesson videos. I just finished learning hangul and I'll slowly learn words here and there because I'm also doing 3 other languages. I hope you keep making these, learning a few words at a time is fast, easy, fun, and less intimidating than opening up a textbook -__- lol.

PS I enjoyed you're cover song you guys did really well, but I haven't had much time to comment with all the school stuff TT.

  • @chottooni ahahaha. annyoung(: and ahah thanks :D

and DANG. 3 languages! well tech. i know two. and im learning espanol this year ahaha xD

and hmm..i guess thats true. but i like the textbook sometimes since i can see what im learning. ahaha.

and thankss :D me and my friend were like WE HAVE TO DO A COVER but we didnt have the time till then ahaha
