Tell your mom and show her videos about the poor little abused cats/kittens that are over-flowing nearly every animal shelter. Every rescue makes a huge difference! Visit your local animal shelter/Humane Society with your mom, there might just be a special one that steals your moms heart :)

i just (today) got my cats names tattooed "meep" (1 yrs old) and "mango" (4 yrs old), and i have my cat "elvis" tattooed that died at 11 yrs of a stroke 4 yrs ago, losing a kitty is so hard, i still get very emotional when speaking about elvis, even though its been over 4 yrs, BUT i have meep and mango now!! got them when they were 3 months old from a shelter :)

@twish1999 thank you! my cat "psycho" before elvis died too of feline leukemia at only 1 year and 2 months old, i would have gotten her name tattooed as well but i dont want to walk around with the word "psycho" on my body hahahaha also because i hardly got to know her since she died so young, it was obv harder losing elvis whom i had since birth for 11 years. i dont even know what to do when meep and mango die. i get very attached to my kitties. all yer cats re BEAUTIFUL

I used to have a calico cat also. We unfortunately had to put her to sleep after she got a really bad infection in her paw that was making her miserable though. On the bright side her infection started when she was 14 years old, so she was on her way to passing on to begin with. Her first 13 years of life were great though for her, thankfully =)

Aaaaw, your kittens are adorable. Watching this video brings back wonderful memories - when I was around ten our adopted cat gave birth to a litter of 4, and it just escaladed from there - we gave away to loving families and kept two, and each cat kept having litters, until we sadly had to get them neutered(/spayed?). Anyway, this video recalled their presence; I think we had 4 or 5 litters in total. Thank you!
