thats the thing man, there is no protagonist in a song of ice and fire. its like The Wire, right? In my opinion, Ned had to die. He killed himself with his own honor the moment he went to Cersei and told her that he knew about Joffrey. If he had a lick of sense in his body he would have went straight to Robert while he was still alive and had those Lannister bitches slaughtered, but he didn't. He was too merciful, and you know the Lannisters aren't about to repay that mercy...

Dude, your reaction to episode 9 was the exact same as mine. But then I read the books. If you think episode 9 was emotionally brutal, just wait until you read "A Storm of Swords". I've never been so completely pissed off at and murderous towards an author as I was at Martin after I finished that book.

The reason why my GOT reviews are longer than my movie reviews is because I discuss just about everything that happens in the GOT episodes. Whereas in the movie reviews, I try my best not to give away too much or spoil anything for people who might want to check the movie out. Why is that different from the GOT videos? Well because the majority of people who watch those have already seen the episodes. Yeah, that's about it.
