The font thing on MAC has always been slightly challenging for me. The program that I have used was called "Suitcase" and it helped to add/organize fonts on the MAC. I would suggest trying that or if you download a template you may need to replace the font in the psd file with the fonts that you currently have on your system.
I apologize that I don't have a better response for you. However, I would also do a google search for Free MAC fonts and see what you find!
@sonenterprises The fonts are embedded with the template you download on the MAC. There is no reason to try to get fonts elsewhere. Go to your product?? folder, with the "?" being the number of your product. Inside that folder the fonts are displayed. There are more fonts in another folder. My folder may be called Carlson. You can just double click on each font. You will get a pop up displaying the font and the option to install them on your computer. Install the font that you may want.

what are you supposed to print with? I don't think you can print with regular printer paper.
