Great playing. Thanks you for playing correctly. I have been chastising others on Youtube for playing these pieces in a romantic style. We're talking about Bach's son here for God's sake.... don't take any tempo liberties people. Keep it strict.
Oh, I learned to play the Solo per il cembalo on the piano. And, I think I have learned the apogiaturas wrongly ._. but, wow, thanks for the video, I coudnt find any with someone playing it on the harpsichord :3
Lovely, lively, rhythmical playing - you make the interminable works of CPEB sound quite attractive! But not the first on harpsichord - I think you will find Luc Beausejour on Fleur de Lys got there 14 years before you! I guess Miklos has recorded it on clavichord too.
Yes, the first part I guess, but not the whole sonata I think? I used a first printed edition, with 2 different versions of part 2 & 3. But I will look for it. Thanks!

Dear Ernst,
I'm getting happy when I hear this music
you play so easily and beatifully. I never heard it before, so it's quite interesting to listen.
Thanks.

Thanks Trond! (Actually I think I like earlier music a bit more, most of the time)

Very nice Ernst! In what style would you call this piece?
GeraldBoyClassical 2 years ago
Hi Gerald. I would say this is galant. A style between the baroque style of J.S Bach. and the "Empfindsamkeit" of the later work by C.P.E.
