Hello Doug! I first heard this in in 1984 and ended up with the cassette which was more of an EP length. I also remember the first time I heard the synthesizer song. I was listening to Rachel Donohough (proper spelling?) one afternoon while sunning myself in Costa Mesa after a Winter in Seattle and she played it. I no longer have my cassettes. I'm slowly rebuilding my collection digitally and in HD Flac where purchase is possible. I'd love that album in at least CD quality.
I heard these guys ONCE and only once, on KROQ doing a song called "My Synthesizer", I think. That was probably over 25 years ago, but somehow I've never forgotten. I'd kill to hear that again, can't find it anywhere. I used to look for a record back then, I gave up and assumed they never released anything.
Her name is Rita Corey. I am not sure about now but at the time she was from the San Francisco Bay Area and worked with a deaf music performance group called Musign. She was great in the video!

This is brilliant, exactly what a music video should be for me. Plus it makes it even better when you know the story behind it all! :D

The overly curious amongst us just want to know who the signing girl is? What's her name, and where is she now? ;)
