@KennyAwasHere No my friend you are retarted they say that to sell it and It may give you that much on some vehicles but not all.You cant really tell a diffrence in 6-16 H/P. The thing it does the most is make it louder, It takes of the stock silencer on the air intake thats why most people get them, not for the $200+ extra 6H/P.
cold air intakes dont take in cold air unless you have a hoodscoop so it can actually take the colder air in from outside rather than the extremely hot air from under the hood.

It's the filtration. I off-road and race. Try off-roading at 12,000 feet, and tell me how well your paper does. I've done it, and the cotton filter helped more of that thin air in. with open filters. they suck air in from all directions. housings pull air in through small hole. so that already is a restriction

The car is faster with the original filter & housing as it is many times bigger than it needs to be. It doesn't restrict, it cleans the air!

The housing and internal pipes also affect the torque of the car depending on the design. They also keep noise to a minimum. A lot confuse a loud noise with power which is why they think a car is faster with a K&N when it is actually slower and limiting power!

cold air intakes dont take in cold air unless you have a hoodscoop so it can actually take the colder air in from outside rather than the extremely hot air from under the hood.
