I still find it kind of amusing that the buildings Architecture and engineering were done by Chicago American architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. American created the skyscraper and the first one being New Yorks Empire State Building standing 1,250 ft (381 meters) thats still very tall today and it was created in 1931. I wish America would do something big like that again.

If you spit from the very top of the building (828m above the ground ) at the point it hits ground it will travel at the approximate speed of 127 m/s (416 ft/s) which is about one sixth of the speed of the bullet :D Although air friction was not accounted for I'd still wear a helmet whenever I get near that building :D
I was here last week and it was awesome. Dubai is really great. There are 12.000 people working in that tower. I went up till 524M in 1 minute with the elevator.They dont allow you higher anymore.! 124th floor is max. Not to speak about the Dubai Mall and all the great cars ... Dubai is Dubai.
The tower must have cost a fortune, but I'm sure the price tag of this fireworks, sound and light show would have brought any third world country into first world status

Hm... Lets do some math... If you spit from the very top of the building (828m above the ground ) at the point it hits ground it will travel at the approximate speed of 127 m/s (416 ft/s) which is about one sixth of the speed of the bullet :D Although air friction was not accounted for I'd still wear a helmet whenever I get near that building :D

I was here last week and it was awesome. Dubai is really great. There are 12.000 people working in that tower. I went up till 524M in 1 minute with the elevator.They dont allow you higher anymore.! 124th floor is max. Not to speak about the Dubai Mall and all the great cars ... Dubai is Dubai.
