I have no idea what went through Mark's mind. But I am of Christian faith and I feel as though I cannot judge Mark for what he did because he may in fact have been tormented by a spirit or was mentally incompatible. I have never been a victim of neither and never want to be so I can't imagine what Mark may have been going through. But from what I can tell Ed Thomas was a blessing to that town, and a hero. The situation was completely unfortunate and no one has the authority to judge it. RIP ED
What a bunch of B.S nonsense at the Becker interview. Wearing their jerseys to the first game, after their son murdered the coach? Give me a break. "The Lord is there with him." - Mark Becker's father. These small town bible belt types are insane.
@mrcoreynitro what? so because one of there three sons had an illness and did something terrible they are suppose to stop caring about there youngest son who IS on the team? Can't go to his games? Support him by wearing his jersey? What did there youngest son do wrong? There is zero wrong with what his father said. For 24 years that man raised him, loved for him, now he needs to hate and hope is son burns in hell or what? The ignorant type of people like you are insane as well.
I ready seeing and watching the story during the ESPYS and it just moved me to a different place. What a wonderful story and life lesson to be learned by the Thomas family!
I saw the story on the ESPY's tonight. As I sat holding back tears, I wish there were more people like Ed Thomas in the world. God bless him and both families.
My mom told me that day and I thought WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SERIOUS
