  • I miss you so much ... Feel like I knew you...Oh god what a song and what a performance. I remember the day I hear her for the first time 24 years ago and I never stops to listen to her

  • I remember seeing this on the teevee way back when. She totally got me and I was shaking by the end of the song. So great to see this again and a bit sad, too. Thanks for posting it!

  • When I'll become a doctor, Janis Joplin and Freddie Mercury will be the treatment I'll give to heal ears

  • @dudubbs ...I will give this treatment to heal ...the heart.

  • No female singers come even close to this day, ...40 years on.

Today only tonns of plastic bullshit scary porn bimbos. I miss you Janis.

  • The best female rock and roll singer ever...killer live video!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS OUTSTANDING VIDEO! THE QUALITY IS GREAT!!! Freakin' incredible woman with incredible vocals and a hands-down legend. She died 9 months before I was born, but even I have always missed her. What a woman. There is no one like, nor has there EVER been anyone like her. One of a kind, baby, one of a kind.

  • unmatched woman vocals...........to date!

  • Miss you baby ,,, the worlds never been the same since you left ......

  • omg the girl with the long blonde hair in the audience is really diggin' janis!!

  • janis Joplin said it can I get anything little hotter listen By you tremendous high you have everything going for you so you had blow it again turned on by me listen Two your music you best blues sang Tony

  • XD She seems under drugs effects at every shows! It doesn't surprise me that she's dead because she took too much eroine.

  • Now, she is truly the BADDEST BITCHH EVER!!!!!. God, why was i born in the 90's?.. why couldn't i have been born during the 50's so i coulda seen her at woodstoCkk er something?.. Ughh!!. haha.

  • She was an unbelievable talent of those times. Wow, I'm speachless. I've been a fan of hers for a very long time. I wish that singers these days look at her and study hard. This is a singer and a great performer. Rest in piece you beautiful soul. Love, RobiG

  • EL MEJOR VIDEO Q VI EN YOUTUBE!!!

  • Know what would be perfect ??? Steven Tyler and Janis sharing the stage... :D

  • What show or dvd is this from?

  • This version has fantastic audio quality. She was on fire! I never noticed the whole audience clapping until now, cause I couldn't hear it before, and never really took my eyes off Janis. But wow, they really amped her up man!

  • her voice is a pure physical energy. like a kick. or a slap. such power.

  • This is magic :D What a voice and such a carisma. I just feel sad cause of the damage drugs and alcohol made on here. What a voice opera singers says that shes got their voice technique.

  • I lived every minute of the 60's She was one of the icons, but there were unreal groups popping up every week. The 60's were a renaissance never seen before or again . I miss them

  • WHHAHAHHHHHAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAT a great video. anybody know where I can the rest of this concert? Even by Janis standards, she's out of control!!

  • i like her R&B stuff the most, when she tried to be a female Otis Redding in some way. I like her stage outfit, she invented it for herself. She's such a great artist. I guess I like almost everything about her anyway

  • If you like this you'll like Cry Baby, Maybe, and the video with her and Tom Jones, she blows him off the stage! (and he seems to be liking it)

  • todays female singers can only dream of being this good...this powerful..this soulful and this REAL.

  • doesn't she look like a saint when shes got her hand up in the air at 2:11? i thought that looked goddess-ly.

  • Mitica Janis J rimarra' sempre unica e inimitabile ..!!!

Un bacio Janis ..... by PAKY.

  • the best women,the best voice !

  • Grande dame !

  • she was such a righteous vocalist. She was a REAL singer who had REAL talent. not like today's bull.

  • Her voice just gives me goosebumps.

  • her style moves me...seriouslllllyyyyy

  • I SO agree with you, ElectricLabel...Finally the voice of reason and good taste...This is a REAL singer ...I can't stomach all the poser's of today that try to pawn themselve's off as singer's ..but with very little talent....especially the ones today that are commercial and have looks but are basically just empty wallets ...never mind the fact that we just don't feel them...they don't move us and excite us like Janis...absolutely one of a kind ...xo

  • Also. This song is about TRYING to please a man to keep him. Something not valued today. Men are supposed to be bitten by the love bug at da club and then follow her around like a puppy buying her stuff.

  • Whats up now Mariah? My fave JJ song. Never seen it live thanks.

  • a bit of steven tyler.

    a bit of robert plant.

    a bit of axl rose.

a bit of blues, soul, rock..

    She was a godess!

  • deffo robert plant and even paul stanley out of kiss!!!

  • This is what X FACTOR means folks.... Wake up people!!!!

  • why I was born too late? She was best and still is the best woman's vocal in the world....

  • @pawcur No she is not. She was great, but not the best one. 2nd best. I no one in a different style of music. Her name is Alison Kruass. totally different music, a voice of a Angel. Alison has sang Old time Mountain, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, Country, Rock, and has sang Classical Music. Her awards speak for there self. She has the most in History of anyone. In a short time. They should just call her Golden.

  • @bluegrasssingingman - are you serious? Alison Kruass got all of that-I agree- has great voice- but she haven't got the balls. In Janis voice -there is something sharp (not only sweet little angel.....)- you can her the FREEDOM if you listen carefully.......

  • @pawcur Go look her awards up.

  • Bossska !! :)

  • She creates all that energy like a chained up dragon that has broken through it's chains but she never looses control of him. Then when she's ready she calmly puts the dragon back into his cage again.

    Greatness!!!

  • she was and stills amazing. FOREVER.

    pozdrawiam

  • yeah, that is a sweet thing isn't it?

    fantastica

  • beautiful kicks baby

  • SHE WAS AND STILL IS MY FAVORITE

  • Love and miss ya Double J!

  • OMG!!! mind blowing, i love this song , and this version is even better that the studio version... God Bless U JJ!!!

  • Why would you say that? What are you doing here? If you don't like her just go away. You are just trying to provoke people with your comment. She was really something in our time and we loved her. Why ruin it for others? Unless... YOU are just a deceitful SLUT!!!

  • Go fuck yourself asshole, she was a drunk but she was still an artist. Don't call me a decietful slut you fucking faggot.

  • JJ was a fun person with a great sound. It comes out and shows in her soulful ways. People still love her and appreciate her.

You, on the other hand, are just a jealous, mean-spirited, vindictive person. You have no place here. Be silent. Go away.

  • The

QUEEN OF FUNK & SOUL.......DAMMIT JANIS...WHY DID YOU DIE YOU DUMMY~ I LOVE YOU SO MUCH~

  • fucking brilliant!

  • Boska Janis!

  • Her voice, her passion, the horns backing her up.......perfection.

  • ha ha. this isnt "Maybe"

  • WHAT PIPES!!!!! have never heard better by any other white woman. (no bigot feelings intended)

  • THAT VOICE!! it makes my day better, i can´t live without hearing her voice...love you baby
