How can you become an EMT for wildland? I was told EMTs did not exist. I was wondering if you could tell me what it is like. Caleb did not really tell me much about firefighting or anything like that.
I got my EMT cert first -then my wildland red-card- then 3 years ago i got on ROSS as a FEMT- (fire- EMT). when a request goes out for a EMT on a fire they call for certified people and if they call me I go.. this year I was on several fires- including the station fire... it is a cool job..
