  • I once froze my uncle for 5 years, he died but looked exactly the same when he came out.

  • Wheres PETA! Im sure once those crackpots hear about this, thet will be pissed! Oh wait, PETA is busy right now Sueing the Sea World for the release of Shamu and the other wales. PETA has listed the Wales as plaintiff's in the lawsuit. Look it up if you want a great laugh!

  • When ever an academic scientist has been getting big enough grants (or the University raises the overhead charge significantly), a BIG BREAKTHROUGH is announced at a press conference.

  • We don't need fruit flies hanging around longer to infecting our food supply, they need to figure how to get rid of them faster. I have too many fruit flies hovering in my place it's quite annoying!

  • @ACatal1 That's not the point of what they're doing... they're testing their theories on fruit flies, to see if it works, this is really in an effort for humans... the fruit flies are the new lab rats...

  • @CJCA915 Yeah, when the new lab rats escape by accident and get into outdoors and start breeding, then we have serious problems, it happens a lot. You can't always trust their merit of safety, it can be done on purpose to create a new problem, so they have the excuse for more money needed to solve the problem.

  • @ACatal1 Well, if you want to be pessimistic about everything...

  • The masses will think, yay they're working on a way to keep us all young.

While I see; oh look, they're engineering a fruit fly that lives longer and does more damage to crops. What country will this little gem be let loose on I wonder?

  • @A1R5N1P3R Believe it or not, that was the initial thing I was thinking when I saw the title.

  • @BigBrotherMateyka Watch this video disappear once a fruit fly crisis sweeps california again...

  • If it's so easy to extend life, then why hasn't nature done that on its own?

  • @6663000

because nature need you/us to die

  • @hdzsound not if we're capable of reproducing viable offspring. They didn't mention if the flies were able to reproduce for longer or not I guess.
