  • I'd forgotten all about this one........then again I went to Wigan between 1974 & 1977 and can't remember being there that often.......the naughty things we did as teenagers ;-)

  • This sound embodies the atmosphere of Wigan to me, I can almost feel the floor bouncing as everyone danced to the stomping beat.... So many people totally in rhythm classic!

  • "Sidra's Theme" was first played by Ian Levine in late 1973, covered up as "The End Of The World by the Explosions". I remember hearing him play it at Wigan at the time.

    Yes, he did DJ there, at least once.

  • This track is actually called Sidras Theme. It's on George McGregor's Sidra label. The vocal is called As Long As You Love Me and is on the same label by Ronnie and Robyn. Two white guys out of Detroit. Great old stomper!
