For all of you who say this song doesn't make sense: in the opening lyrics he's talking about his home where he grew up and what he did and liked about it. In the chorus he's saying that home will always be here (obviously) and where he liked to disappear and hide. as he was leaving his home he thought dreamy things (the good old days) so he'll spread his wings and fly (immerse himself in his memories)

For all of you who say this song doesn't make sense: in the opening lyrics he's talking about his home where he grew up and what he did and liked about it. In the chorus he's saying that home will always be here (obviously) and where he liked to disappear and hide. as he was leaving his home he thought dreamy things (the good old days) so he'll spread his wings and fly (immerse himself in his memories)
