@jehefinner do you have an infant? Have you tried searching for the thrown soother while driving? Have you been woken up numerous times in the night for nothing more than a lost soother?
My son (16 months now) has had a soother clip for many reasons; tired of losing soothers because he dropped it on the floor in the mall, tired of hearing him scream in the car because he threw it, tired of being woken up at night because he threw it on the floor.
Oh yeah, bundle the baby up in a swaddler, clip the paci infront of it's face, you can probably go for hours without having to even touch your baby! If you use one of those bottle holders you could even feed your baby without having to pick it up too.
Or you could just actually attend to your baby and meet it's needs properly, instead of plugging it's mouth with a lump of silicone.....
