  • he lost is car years ago under a piles of junk..

  • i am willing to pay 550 dollars for it because its a 55 chevy.

  • Just think of all the interior seat fuzz that's now in the inside of the frame due to mice making their nests there. and all the mouse chewed wiring. I know this for fact as it was what had happened to my 57 when I bought it.

  • I looked at a 56 a few years back the guy that had it was "OUT OF HIS MIND" he also wanted 10,000 for a car that grant it had not been driven since 1962 when it was T Boned by a caddy . The frame was bent and needed a rack and whole passenger side quarter door and fender and rocker and floor pans to boot . And it was an inline six long seized up . He still has the car and now wants 12,000 for it telling its worth more since it's older now .

  • @Rebelx1969 watch craigslist, you can find some pretty good tri 5s for a decent price, if I had only kept all my 55-57 cars, 20 years ago you could by a real decent car for in the hundreds, all I got left of those models is a 57 210 post, gotta get on it and some of the others one of these days, restorataions parts are just so damn expensive, and the barrett jackson auction makes people think junk is gold.

  • @dhamrick100 I had a 57 post I picked it up for $ 500 in 1989 the car was a basket case and held on to it until 1991 . But was all there less the seat's and door panels .But the rest was all there and very very little rust . It was a Tennessee car and some one had started the work and gave up . My father had a pole barn and would never let me park it there and work on it . That still ticks me off to this day . He did the same thing with a Packard I had a 55 clipper .

  • @dhamrick100 And shows like American pickers too . Two guys already well off in the money business . Have now turned every barn full of junk into it's got to be worth a million . I run into that all the time now and its not much fun to deal with it . I did lots of picking and made some money not much trust me but now forget it .... Ever since that show got on the air its really not easy to find good stuff anymore . No sleepers around anymore . Just what the family's don't want .

  • @Rebelx1969 Boy you got that right....they were in my area(MD) and talked a guy into selling some stuff that we had been trying for years to get. The program pays them expenses and as far as I can find out from sources pay all their expenses too. Let them stay in the Midwest and pick.......have made everything someone has now think its worth a ton of money thanks to them......

  • parked in it's "TOMB" not "TOOM"

  • If the old man bought it, drove it home from Detroit and it has 54,000 original miles on it where did he live. I think the little ole lady was trying to pull something over on you. Reminds me of Barny off of The Andy Griffith show.

  • i NEED that car than i can see the usa in my chevrolet

  • For the love of God, KEEP IT STOCK!!!

  • is it for sale

  • Does it have the 283 or the six...do you know?

  • 54,000 what a fantastic find if its not rusted in hard to fix or replace places....right on man.

  • its worth 20 thousand easy, and maby more.

  • wat 54 thats really low car worth money

  • so did you get the car??? or is still sitting there, usually these cars are left because they dont wont to sell it. they would watch it rust away but they wouldn't sell to someone who would put it on the road

  • @MO3MINI

hey as far as i know it's still there the want close to 10grand for it wow

  • @s30zman The 2 door hardtop would be more desirable (no post between the door/back windows) 10 grand is way too much for a ratty old clunker thats been sitting for god knows how long.

  • @stutzman2 have you ever owned a hardtop, its nearly impossible to eliminate the window rattle, if that car is as pristine and untouched as it looks, 10k would be a fair price if someone really wanted one, look at some classifieds, people are asking more than that for cars that I used to classifie as parts grade cars.

  • pinche pendejo i want to see it fixed thats junk

  • nice wheels dude! great rare find!

i also see you have the "camera" and the "action"...but you forgot the first bit..."LIGHTS" LOL I'd love to see the interior.

  • very interesting but cant see nothing almost!!

  • Hard to see the interior due to the dark video. Did she say why is the car parked? Some malfunction at all?

  • naw the old man died and she parked it in it's toom

  • wow

  • i want that car for a rat!!

  • does it still work, do you stil have it?

  • no but i know were it is!!!!!

  • go buy it from the lady :p i am sure with a litle bit of work , get teh old gas then good battery ithen once you know it cranks then get some fresh oil

  • awesome find

  • looks more like a garage than a barn

  • That is a special "Gold anniversary" model. Only a handful of the got the special Gold color combo!

  • The Gold Anniversary models also had gold trim. The car in the video has plain ol chrome.

  • can the video be any darker!

  • so ,how did she look? ,your topless cousin

  • I found a pile of dung once in a barn, and some hay bails once.I saw my girl cousin topless once in a barn also.

  • video is too dark.

  • did u ever get it??

  • naw but i know were it's at lol

  • Grab that sucker quick! Finds like that don't come along every day! Leave the patina on it. It is so much better that way. Too many shiny yuppie buggies out there as it is.

  • if you buy it keep it stock plese

  • Buy it!

And I think it is a 210 instead of Bel Air...EVEN BETTER!

  • Too bad its not a hardtop. Drive it as is, you'de loose your shirt in a restoration.

  • ya nice find..but after ya buy it..strip it and new quarters and fenders and new interior cause the mice have gotten to it and wait..rebuild the motor 40k later..good investment...

  • If you can get it, leave it original. They're only factory original once. Whatever you do,enjoy it.

  • dude do you now how much money you can get it restored and get lots of money

  • man this is so cool.......see if you can get a good lighted shot of the interior

  • just dont chop it

  • sweet

  • is it possible to ADD some more stuff on top of this beauty?

  • Keep it original. It would be a shame to rod it.

  • You lucky dog !

  • excellent find, it's your car do as you please, but since it's in perfect condition as you said, it be a shame to turn it into a rat rod or even street-pro.

years ago it was hard to find parts these days it's much easier i can name a bunch.

best of luck with your gem, and don't forget keep us posted, have fun.

  • yes i will keeep you posted and thanks watching !! I need to get back over there and talk to her !!

  • Good luck with that car brother. Did you put up more vids of the 88 Ranger?

  • i need ideas what you think?

  • If you're talking about the Chevy then you can keep it restored or you can make it into a rat rod. If you're talkin about the ranger then you could probably do donuts in the ice if you have any, or have some fun in the snow.

  • BINGO!!! Fuckin' NICE!

  • I going to work on this one !! well try and see

  • nice ..i would get it

  • Dang, guy...I hope you can make that happen! Post a video of getting it going after 30 years like dave did with the old Caddy. LOL

  • very nice. you should bye that.

  • WOW! I'm in LOVE with that car, man!!

  • dude i know one owner wow no rust the tim is still good i want to get that car get it running and drive it the way it is the vid cant show the inside but it's still ok the seats were not riped !! the carpet was still good
