At first, I thought "I know I loved this show in the past, but if I watch it now, I'm probably gonna think how stupid I was for ever watching this sort of animation." Now, I find myself smiling and laughing, and having a good time watching every second of this, no matter how weak some of the dialogue or voice acting was... It warms my heart and nostalgia completely overwhelms me.

This is my favorite movie from the Tenchi Muyo Series, so heart warming, but the english is making my ears bleed. Must revert to the japanese version. And the point of the movie is Tenchi meeting back up with his childhood friend and her being in love with him, but knowing that the dark can't live with the light! Don't know if the english version gets the point across like the japanese version. A very sad love story!

She's not. This movie was based on a novel by one of the writers for the first OVA, Naoko Hasegawa. She was also the character designer for Kiyone, which is why she's in this.

Washu snatched a hair. That was so funny how she tiptoed all fast back to the door. She gonna run some tests in her laboratory. She is the one female in the house who can relate to Tenchi. In one series she was a mother herself but her husband and son were taken from her. That was so sad!
