@xproxturtle I have divorce duals. 2.25" pipe after the cats and then I upped it to 2.5" pipe 10 inches before the mufflers. 2.5" tail pipes, and then tips.
@xproxturtle I cut out the "Y" pipe directly after the second cats and ran Divorce Duals 2.25" pipe to the mufflers. About 8 inches before connecting to the mufflers I upped it to 2.5" pipe. The mufflers are 2.5" and the tail pipes are 2.5".- Hope that helps.
@robb15033 ok thanks, one more question is there really a noticeable sound difference between the fm 10 and the cherry bomb extreme? it seems like the fm 10s have a much cleaner note then the cherry bombs do
@xproxturtle Physically I've been told the difference is that the "V" baffle inside is reversed with the Extreme mufflers. I'm not sure how much they sound different. I know they sound similar. I have thought about what it would sound like to have one of each on the car! The Cherry Bomb Vortex sounds great too. I can get anything I want if I work hard enough but I like the Flowmaster 10's the best. In person, inside the car and out, they sound incredible. Cheap microphones do not translate well.
In this video there is no mid-pipe. It is divorced duals. After the cats, 2.25" piping runs to the mufflers, increasing to 2.5" pipe about ten inches before entering the mufflers, and then 2.5" out and over the axle to 3.5" polished tips.
They really do sound great in person.I decided to go with them and 2.25" midpipe. I think they cost $60 on various ebay sites. They are rectangular, almost square. They are chambered just like the other Flowmaster mufflers. Cherry Bomb has the "Extreme" muffler that is very much like these too, chambered and sound great. Let me know if there's any other questions.
@andyfoxable You can hear high high they get by listening to the drive away on this one and a couple more I have posted before. They sound great. Flowmaster Super 10 Series Mufflers. They're small, 6.5" long.
i want my Thunder Bird to sound like this XD
