That wouldnt make much sence like the whole point of pikmin would be ruined with flying pikmin, nature pikmin are all pikmin how more naturish could they get, wtf would shadow pikmin do?, ground pikmin sound pointless and ice pikmin? there is no ice on the pikmin planet that i know of and if there is they could servive it or they would make ice pikmin. Nintendo thinks about these things i mean i am only 13 and i went through all the details, there is no points putting somthing in if its pointles

YES IT WILL MAKE SENSE!shadow pikmin can hide if left alone on planet from creatures,ground pikmin can roll and move earth parts,nature pikmin,when killed they turned into posys,YES THERE IS ICE ON THE FIRST LVL,ice pikmn can help u destroy ice,and Flying pikmin can glide when thrown and carry pikmin with them!so beat that hylain!>:( Who thinks that this will be FUN????!!!!!!!!

But what would be the point if it was helpfull don't you think that nintendo would have thought of it yet, and sorry for not nkowing if there is ice, i don't have the game (but i am getting it on the wii ). you have to think deeply to these things, why would you want to hide in the shadow, what fi you forgot were your pikmin were or you left them in the shadows and you went back for them and you couldnt see them in the dark, why would they turn into posys ( did you spell it wrong?)

let me get this straight,first when shadow pikmin r left by accident on the planet,they can hide in shadows so they wont DIE!next day they will return to the landing site.

Sometimes,leaf shadow pikmin would probaly die,but the flowers and buds dont make sense?

@SonicRules1100 Normal Pikmin already hide if they are beneath the Onions and the Dolphin. They also alter the scenario on free will. Nature Pikmin wouldn't get pellets anywhere if they were turned into Pellet Posies. Ice can be destroyed with Normals, and Yellow Pikmin already makes more of a glide when thrown.
