Most women aren't even buying their own tickets, their husbands or boyfriends are, so men if you know your woman isn't going to be watching the game don't bring them, it's a waste of money.

Those of you, that are Don Cherry haters, understand this. He may have said it very simply, and with a wide brush.....that it is usually women that get hit with the puck, because they are not paying attention to the game. That was very simplified. Ron was correct in telling him that anyone can get hit. It is impossible to test the theory out now, because of the netting. I know from experience. When I go to the Joe (Joe Louis Arena) to watch the Wings, women pay half the attention men do.

Because I can name 5 female goalies who are better than half of the ones in the NHL, I can name a bunch of womens players who can handle the puck better. If you are refering to the hitting and shit that is only a small part of hockey. Using an example of one female in a league of men means nothing. Women are not big enough, overall, to compete with men in this game. Women that are big enough, are rarely agile enough to compete with men, at this level. I have watched Women's Olympic hockey. It is much slower than NHL hockey. When the time comes, the right woman will get into the NHL. When will that happen???????

Ever since cell phones arrived on the scene, I've waited in vain for rinks to implement a policy ruling that the damned things should be disallowed during games.
Turn the fucking things off during periods. It's not only dangerous, but rude. And irritating as hell to surrounding fans. I'm not the first one to give some chatterbox a dirty look.
It's for your own safety, folks. Yap on a cell during play and you'll eventually get smacked by a puck, or by me. This applies to both women and men.

I'm a woman and I agree whole heartedly. Sure men talk sometimes but not nearly as much as women, and more likely than not the women aren't even talking about the game. This irritates me to the highest degree. Most women aren't even buying their own tickets, their husbands or boyfriends are, so men if you know your woman isn't going to be watching the game don't bring them, it's a waste of money.
