Naruto mastered most things on his own, same as Sasuke has. I think the only thing TRULY handed to Sasuke would be the Curse Mark, which did give him more power, but it took him a while to learn how to control it. Well, that and Sharingan, which was passed down in the Uchiha family.

I luv sasuke and agree with some complements he's getting from fans, but i luv naruto too. They're both the baddest ninja on this show in my opinion. The only reason he couldn't beat people like Itachi, Bee, and the Kages is: 1st- almost ALL of them have more experience than him (he's only 16). Plus gaara had back up. The fact that he was still able to hold his own against them at his age is still badass and no one can deny. Naruto mastered most things on his own, same as Sasuke has. I think the only thing TRULY handed to Sasuke would be the Curse Mark, which did give him more power, but it took him a while to learn how to control it. Well, that and Sharingan, which was passed down in the Uchiha family.

Naruto has even said that one punch from the raikage would finish him if not for the nine-tails chakra cloak. P.S. I love naruto as a character but there's no way that sage naruto could best Itachi. And yes, Sasuke, the one with Sharingan and one of the cheapest jutsus ever, "beat" Bee, the jinchuriki who was testing him and got away to fight another day. And no, he didn't run, he substituted. There is a difference.

Sasuke-Sama used him with false hopes he gave to orochi.Orochi was thinking that he will get Sasuke-Sama's body but..You know the ending he get.Sasuke-Sama is clever,he firstly didnt decline the body exchange.With that,orochi gave everything he got to train Sasuke-Sama.So 2 years later,Orochi was weakened and Sasuke-Sama got extremely powerfull.You get it :)
