The frog knows it is being eaten, because you can see it trying to get away. There is no blood because snake teeth are designed to grab and hold, not rend flesh. They are little needles. The snake just "walks" its jaws over the prey. The frog will eventually suffocate. At least a live frog doesn't have any pointy bits to hurt the snake. A bird or something could.
