he IS making a Gene Starwind cosplay. My Melfina is almost done (I just need to make the blue poncho thingy), and he already has the wig for Gene. We plan to finish them over winter break

Well, generally I'll cosplay the characters I like the most...and most of the time, they'll be male characters. For example, in Yugioh GX, I like Alexis/Asuka...but she's not my favorite character (and I don't like wearing uber-short skirts. The only reason I'm willing to wear a short skirt for Melfina is because she has the blue poncho thing to cover a lot of that up). Just because I cosplay as a lot of guys doesn't mean I don't do female cosplays.

Anyways heres my last one (no I swear). How do you find out where anime conventions are gonna be? Is there a web site or something?

well, if you google "anime convention," the first site to pop up has a huge convention list with locations, dates, and websites for each con.

yes, it parallels with xxxholic, and the two main characters are Sakura and Sayoran from Card Captor Sakura :3 (and many other CCS characters are also in it)
