@starlight2009x I've seen noticeable improvements in my complexion with taking Omega-3 capsules (fish oil). A psychiatrist recommended it to me as a natural mood enhancer, but I noticed it helped clear up my pimples too.
@Joyceline same here, except I take it in the liquid form, meaning that, yes, I drink a teaspoon of fish oil every day. (It's not as yucky as it prob sounds! hehe) Does wonders for the skin, hair, and nails. But especially the skin.
Thanks so much for this video! I'm taking supplements now for almost a year, that contain high levels of vitamin C and also vitamin E, A and Magnesium. I can't really tell if I'm getting anywhere with it, but it's supposed to help the skin get better. I'll let you know in a couple of year, maybe? LOL! btw, I'm @ThaisKG on twitter, thanks for the #FF.
@aveslp from my understanding it also is any inflammatory response to something the body deems foreign, so not in all cases bacteria.. irritants, etc can cause acne and hormones can increase those inflammatory reponses
hi doctor, what brands of topical antioxidants would you recommend?

I have a question for non prescription? For product that fades acne scars or discoloration, what ingredient should we look in.

And do brewers yeast pills help for acne?
SanneMusic 1 year ago
@SanneMusic No! It typically makes acne worse.

I'm taking an oral antibiotic, would that help with acne? And how does one know if their acne is hormonal or bacterial?
shinycandybar 1 year ago
@shinycandybar Acne is always bacterial. "Hormonal acne" just means that your hormones are making you more susceptible to breakouts.

ginabinawina99 1 year ago
@aveslp: I have hormonal acne. It's the worst kind. There's no cure. You're stuck taking medication to balance your hormones for life!!!
OS253 1 year ago
@shinycandybar you should drink green tea its great at balancing hormones and killing bacteria
