I have a great little trail up by my house in Wellington. The park is called Greenacres Freedom Park and it's on Pinehurst, between Lake Worth Road and Forest Hill. About 3.5 miles, tight and technical, LOTS of log obstacles, couple of nice drops. The thing that pisses me off though, is parents who bring their little kids onto the trail when it is WAY beyod their skill level. People, bring you kids, get them into the sport. It's great. But know their limits or someone's going to the ER.
hahahahah the same thing happened to me accept it was on a downhill trail and right in front of a rock garden its crazy were newbies decide to leave there bike
Dude, this is great. The other day some fat ass was in the middle of the trail facing the opposite way talking on his cell phone. He see's me coming and does he move? NO. Rookies, please learn to ride on the street before you come into the trails. IDIOTS....
great vid. I live only six blocks from Amelia, and on that hill there are allways people falling! I ride here all the time since it's my local trail. Oleta and Marham are also one's I frequent. Have you ever been to the trails in Ft. Pierce? Good trails....
I think he had just fallen, but you still need to clear trail as fast as possible. It's really my fault, I hesitated just an instant when I saw him, and that killed my momentum. My bike went right over his head. Watch carefully and you'll see my bike with nothing but sky behind it.
I hate that. Once you hesitate, game over. I have been trying to get my wife into mountain biking. She's still a little timid and she gets herself in trouble becasue she hesitates. I guess time and practice, right?
All that and not a scratch.I was completely upside down, I couldn't even get up without the other guy pulling me back up the hill. My bike went right over his head without hitting him.

I've seen them out there with the kid in the damn kiddie seat on the back of their 3spd.,trying to go up some big hill.
The most dangerous thing for kids is dumb parents. Period.

How IS the trail? I was there a couple of months ago and was un-ridable. Of course, it had also rained all week....

Amelia is definitely a wintertime trail.
If you get up north, try Carter Road park between Mulberry and Lakeland. But have a local take you through or you'll miss the best parts.
Search "Carter road" for some vids.

You just gotta BELIEVE!!! And I believe the last thing I want to do is fall backwards down a hill with my feet still clipped in.
