@Hinyxx I filmed myself cutting my hair in my "How to Cut Layers & Bangs at Home" video.
I wasn't comfortable with filming me cutting my hair because this was the first time using the product. I filmed a second video because I realized that people wanted to see how I did it and because I had more experience with it :)
omg this video helped me so much. tomorrow I will buy two of these creaclips and start to cut my hair. you exactly got the haircut I always wanted to have. thanks so much <3
What happens if you do your first cut with the clip in the smiley position instead of the frowny position? Do you get more of a U cut than a V? I like more of a U shape or a softer V, any suggestions?
@sarahjanes78 that would make an inverted U or V which isn't ideal for long hair. it make the hair that frames you face longer that the back.
For more of a softer edge, like a U, the placement of the clip has to be different. you have to shut the clip further from the forehead or have someone place it smiley face position from behind... so yes, it's possible. I hope you get what I mean. My explanation sort of sucks lol
Too bad I found these after I used the elastic technique and completely screwed up my hair. lol. At least I can still wear it up. I just purchased these off of amazon, so hopefully I can salvage my hair a little when I get them in. If not I guess I'll be wearing it up for a couple months before I cut it.
@pedrohill22 really? did you see the video I made after this one called "How to Cut Layers & Bangs at Home"? I show myself using it, I was too nervous to film myself the first time I used it. I always wondered about the elastic technique and if it's hard to do. The clip is more "fool proof" - I think it takes a lot of practice to be able to cut your own hair just the way you like it. Props for trying again without giving up, it can be really discouraging to mess up. :p
@stealingbeauty haha, I usually cut my hair and it comes out fine, but the last time I did it I didn't have a baby (who is 5 months now so that's how long it's been). So I wanted to try something that would be faster so I did the elastic technique and it didn't come out how everyone else's does. I don't know how because I did it the same, but it was all lopsided and everything. Then I tried fixing it and my shortest layer is WAY too much in the front now. lol. It's straight in the back.
@mcaamille genetics are definitely in my favor, thanks to mom and her side of the family. It's very easy for me to grow my hair and it's naturally very thick and coarse, even. I have a "Tips, Products & Updated Routine for Healthy Hair" video. In the same way that skincare is not the same for everyone, neither is haircare (ex; not everyone needs anti frizz hair gel). I know this is a vague answer, but I can't really elaborate because I'm not sure of your hair type :p
@SilenceOfMidnight I'm not jealous of her. I never said anything bad about her looks. She is pretty. this video is more like a review about the product. Not haircut.
@magicthadd this is a product review, which requires talking. if you don't like that, then don't waste your time complaining about it and just move on. thanks :)
im waiting on my hair to grow longer before i cut the face shaping layers. i think your hair cut is great. i just wish my hair grew faster! ive started using this hair growing moisturizer so hopefully that will help.
@kirarly first of all I'm not jealous of her. I was looking for how to cut your hair with creaclip like she describes it.... not detailed info about it and she barely cut her hair.
@sherikream the 3rd time i cut my hair i parted the bottom layer in 2, brought the parts forward and shortened them with the crea clip in a smiley face position. I'm sure there are other ways to do it... you could have someone else fix it from behind, but since I did it myself ;p
your hair has amazing texture! can you tell me what products you use such as shampoos and stuff. i'd like to know everything. i have thick blackish hair like yours (asian hair). it would be of amazing help!
@didusayjenn asian hair is veryyyyy much the opposite of my hair type, you have to work with what you have. mine is coarse, wavy and frizzy lol it has it's ups and downs just like any hair type ... :p
@mileycyrus10t My other creaclip video is an actual demonstration that's linked to this one, there's almost no talking it. Also, this is a review - you shouldn't watch reviews because they involve talking, next time check the length of video before clicking, that way help you in the future.
@nefertitigabby in a video called "instyle.com cutting your own bangs" (easy to find) but also, my mom is a former hair dresser & she warned me. I wouldn't cut my hair without a guide by myself. For styling curly hair, a blow dryer with a defuser is very helpful to get perfect curls. I have a video on simple curly hair styles too, called 3 easy looks for naturally curly hair. Hope that helps :)
woww u hair is so beautiful i love it,, i use to have my hair like that.. y aora lo tengo maltratado y corto empece a pintarmelo mucho y a cortarmelo y aora no pasa de ayi :( YO SOY Muy loca siempre cambio de look. esto k usastes esta muy bueno por k te aorras dinero y alarte,, no vas al salon ayi nunca me lo dejan como yo kiero.. anyways good job,, que champoo usas??
@TaraMichelleZ nope. I had to look that up. I just watched a review about it. I don't like judging a book by it's cover, but that looks like it would take a long time to use (if you have thick hair) where as the haircut I did on myself took me 15 minutes max. The only cure for split ends is to cut them off, I guess that product would be good for someone who is more concerned about conserving length. :P
@allegramarquez66 Thank you :)! I have one, it's on my old channel (Lolitademure) but I want to make a new one. I don't dye or use hot tools often, this is probably the healthiest my hair has ever been.
I used the scissors in the video, and they are for cutting hair - my mom got them and they are inexpensive (probably not more than $20). I might have said "professional" but I meant just scissors intended for hair cutting. :p
@FelinasMakeupSecret thanks, I love your Hard Candy video. I see the tiki bronzer you recommended and I want it! I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for the walk the line liners, i love that everything is animal cruelty free as well.
Thanks for the great review. :] I placed my order for the CreaClip about an hour ago.

you should try the split ender by maxi kit
it gets rid of your split ends with out taking off the
length of your hair. it cuts 1/4 to 1/8th inch of hair off
which is shorter than your own eyelashes. & it really works!!
I've been using it for 5 months now & my split ends have disappeared.
my ends are much smoother & softer & healthier.
rawrXk1ssmeX 3 weeks ago 2
@rawrXk1ssmeX that sounds really cool, though I really don;'t mind taking length off my hair. I don't like it when it gets too long.
