injectedlove....to slide the chord like I did, you play the chord and slide it, while it is still sounding, to another position...in this case, one fret. You have to keep tension on your strings, but just enough by pushing down with as little grip as possible to keep the notes ringing. As with anything, a new skill takes practice.....best wishes, many blessings!

Actually, I kinda am. They're like "omygod, you play soooo well..." and then they start singing...then they ask for me to play more songs...then I play, like, Green Day songs once or twice, then I play one of MY songs, then they ask who made it and what it's called, when I tell them they're like "OMG REALLY?? THATS SOOOO COOL!" So to start a session, party in the usa is a good one.
