@eteokles3 No...diving fans like to watch perfection, or as near to perfection as possible. All Olympians have to go through rigorous training to get to world class, not just divers. Having gone through all that hard work, someone like yourself criticizes them not of their diving, but their "lack of charisma!" Maybe they should dance a jig before the dive to satisfy you.

I think most of the spectators were on the other side. I've seen another video like this before where theres no one on the side the camera is pointing out. But they don't care for spectators, i believe the Chinese will give him and his family money if he brings back medals at competition and if its a Series or whatever. He can win money as well from the meet. That and its fun to go places :P
