Every time I watch 1:50 to 1:59, I can feel my heart shatter. How can these two amazing actors release such raw emotion. My heart actually hurts when I watch them say goodbye. TG's tears are like a knife to the heart!
You keep my hopes up for their reunion! I had not heard this song before and it is perfect!! Nothing compares to these two characters AND actors on screen. Thanks for your gift of some of the best moments and for keeping the hope alive!
They definately need to bring Laura AKA Genie Francis back ASAP!!! Since Jonathan Jackson came back after ten years, the writers and producers need to get off their lazy butts and ask Genie to come back especially with this Lucky/Liz/ Nikolas triangle going on!! I'm glad to see JJ and Tony Geary together again, because they have the best father/son chemistry and JJ and Genie Francis have great chemistry too. I hope they bring Genie Back!!!
I tend to more often err on the side of being over analytical than over emotional. Waterworks don't come easy to me. I so miss the days when the characters were writen and acted with such integrity, you knew where they stood and had an idea of where they were coming from and where they were going. You really cared about them as "people" and were invested in them to the point where even someone like me could be moved to tears.... THAT is what good daytime drama is all about.!! L&L embody it.

The one he did in 1982 is just as powerful today as it was 28 years ago too. (only have a snippet on there with the suitcase that has the Wyndams pink dress in it..and shortly after he tosses his wedding band overboard too and professes that he will always love her). The intensity was pretty much matched..and those were both Laura "death" scenes ..as far as Luke knew at the time. Really heart wrenching... and impeccably performed. Hence the reason for the channel.. both TG and GF are geniuses!
