Lá por não ser Portuguesa, é associado. Tanto tenho orgulho pelo valor nacional, como pelo valor internacional onde se fala a minha língua.

Criolo foi uma língua inventada pelos escravos de forma a poderem comunicar sem correrem o risco de perceberem o que era dito. De certa forma deriva do Português...quanto ao castelhano, não me parece.

Criolo n foi inventado pelos escravos. Não é verdade! Surgiu, como muitos outros aspectos da cultura cabo-verdiana d convívio do escravo com o homem-branco. Surgiu da necessidade de 2 povos (brancos e negros) se comunicarem. Imagina 2 povos com duas línguas completamente diferentes a viverem num mesmo espaço...O 1ª coisa a surgir foi 1 forma redumentar que se cahamava Pidgin, q ao evoluir deu origem ao criolo. Portanto, em Cabo Verde o criolo smp foi 1 língua de brancos e negros!

Quanto ao chamado "Crioulo"... É apenas um dialecto... Não tem um dicionário establecido, não tem uma gramática definida (utilizam a Portuguesa, porque é a que conhecem), não tem uma abrangência suficiente para se considerar um idioma...

It's been said a few times already but maybe i can shed some light on this discussion: This is not Portuguese (or Brazillian). This language is from Cabo Verde, also known as Creole (Crioulo).
