You may not care, you may have figured it out, but the reason the edges are not keying out well, is because you are too close to the screen. It is called "Light spill". Try and stand a metre (3 feet) or 2 away from the screen. It will work 10x as well.
You guys may already know this, but if you stand further away from the screen next time, you can reduce the amount of green shown on the outline of the actor...
It also helps if you put a backlight (a light from behind and above) on your character to add some death to try and separate him from the screen.
