  • Best two-channel R/C plane, and least expensive to boot, hands down! I have four of them, and still on the first one with the others for parts (they were that cheap). A new battery fully charged and nursed will keep the thing in the air for 20-minutes. Went out flying the thing today and noticed that I need new batteries again. You get one battery with the plane. It's tough, but buy spare wings and props for those times you wrinkle or break one.

  • check out my yellow bee video, its the only one on you tube that works as a boat!!

  • I may get mine from Nitro Planes dose the batter come with it?

  • the first time i got mine, i crashed really hard against the grass and the main wing broke apart at the part where u screw the bolts and then i had to take the bolts off, put the wing on, and screw the bolts back on. then i got it up to ten ft and the wing just came off( it broke on both sides). it looked like a real plane crash!

  • figaro.......figaro.........figaro......figaro......figaro...... mines all covered with clear shipping tape the down side is the wing breaks @ the motor cutouts hard to retape there - i only got 5 -10 minutes each off 2 packs- lotta fun tho- it is fast, and fairly good glide ratio, once it gets its groove at low RPM

  • my yellow bee climbed to about 30 ft and the tail wasnt secured properly and it fell appart and broke i think the dragon fly is better

  • If you can fly a Yellow Bee you can fly anything....I have had two and actually thermalled one out of sight.

  • my brother gave my dad and uncle a similar plane to play with and it thermalled -gone for good

  • i got a know 1

  • i bought one 2 day and i cant belive the power its defanetly worth 29.00 dollers any one know about buying a second battery as far ass price for longer flying time and how long does it take to charge after flying

  • Check out bidproduct(dot)com. They sell the 4.8V NiMH battery you'd need for the Bee for $5 + probably about $5 for shipping. I just bought a second bee instead, although I have purchased some stuff from them and they were good. You can also get the battery for slightly more from Raidentech.

It takes about 3 hours to charge completely.

  • how long does it take fr tha battery to come

  • A couple of weeks.

  • how bout after the initial charge? does every charge take like 3 hours? thanks- i took two pax out with me today got maybe 5 minutes each - the destructions say i should get @ least 15, more like 20 minutes per pack

  • favorite plane

    favorite opera

  • man.....i remember those engine sounds....but i moved on to a wing dragon then a parkzone t-28 trojan...check out my new vid which should be up soon.

  • i just lost my i was so pised

  • It flew away?

  • yea

  • mine too, dang it hurt to see it fly so good but to far away to find it, stupid yellow bee!!!

  • "This isnt a car, its a plane,"

I dont know made me laugh.

    Nice video.

  • Yeah, I was desperately trying to take-off, but it can be hard with the Bee.

  • Its best to Hand launch it as per the instructions. Only need runway to land

  • that's tight

  • i have 1, i broke the wing byt got a new one:. but i lost the landing gear

  • Really good footage...

  • oh wel, i have to buy some spare props, the show must go on ;)

  • hahaha ive done it, crashed the thing.

the nose is broken, glued en taped it back together and it still flies haha

only problem is, i have no spare propellors now haha

  • Yeah, I wish they gave you more spare props.

  • THNX vega2614

i will tape the wings and for the tip about steering, it works great as you described :)

now i'm not so affraid annymore to crash it

    thnx a lot and greetz

  • No problem, glad my advice helped. I've got a lot of experience flying my trusty Bee :).

  • hi

ive got my plane today and i have a smaller one already, but i'm afraid that i'm gonna crash it :S

any tips for reinforcing the whole damn thing?

    thnx a lot and greetzz

  • Cover the wings in packing tape. It will take a bit of time, but definitely is worth it.

For control, I find it better to turn with only the right stick (left stick down). You dip the wings into the turn, then punch the throttle (left) to turn faster, then level out.

  • great video.. i think i'm gonna get one soon! =)

  • i just got one yesterday it is a sweet first plane. i suggest a big area for flying ive already disintegrated the wings on a barbwire fence. fixed it got stuck in a tree and hit my neighbors house. im still working on the controls.

  • Had mine up for about 12 straight minutes this evening. Best tips I've heard: 1)BEFORE beginning, remove the motor housings and run packing tape over and under the wing, so it is reinforced right in front of each motor. Replace the housings. 2)Remove the landing gear so the plane won't tumble upon landing. 3) Always take off into the wind, even if there is only a slight breeze. 4) Back off the throttle after takeoff.

Awesome landings and takeoffs in video!

  • Very good advice. I completely covered about 2/3 of the wing with packing tape of my second Yellow Bee (the first one has some balance issues now), including under the motor housings. I taped up the wing separately, then cut out holes in the tape where the motors go. I've crashed the plane pretty bad and it hasn't gotten destroyed yet. I fly without the landing gear unless I have access to a place to land (like dirt or asphalt). Normally, I just catch the plane when I'm done flying.

  • how long do i charge the battery?

  • i have a bee loctite super glue works very well to fix most damage on the wings and most of the plain as well try it

  • do u have any pileting tips for me? i just wrecked mine because it wouldnt turn right so the left main and rear wings snapped off.

  • Well, in terms of fixing the wings, definitely try packing-taping them together again, and if that doesn't make the wings pretty rigid again, try using 5-min epoxy (take tape off first then put back on after epoxy is hard for reinforcement; epoxy is sold at most stores for like $2).

  • As far as flying is concerned, make sure the engines are working properly and that the plane flies straight under no power. Give it a gentle toss before flying; it should glide straight pretty well. If not, adjust the elevon tabs on the V-tail. To turn, I usually release the throttle (up/down stick) and just tap the left/right stick. Hold it down for tight turns, but you run the risk of wing-overing into the ground.

  • Yes, I would definitely recommend getting one, although e-bay maybe isn't the best place. Is there a Harbor Freight in your area? They're only $30 brand new.

  • Very good lander. I am about to buy a yellow bee off of ebay... Would u recommend one?

  • Thanks guys. The Yellow Bee is awesome. Not as fun to fly as a 3 or 4 channel (like your Parkzone or my Cub), but definitely serves its purpose as a layed-back flyer. It flies for about 15 min on one battery charge, which is pretty impressive considering it has a NiMH battery. Be sure to put some packing tape on the wings and tail in weak points so the wings don't break in a crash. If they do, 5-minute epoxy them together and reinforce with tape.

  • Nice video. Hard to beat electric planes.

  • funny i thought it was a piece of crap, but this thing can really move, i fly bigger planes such as parkzone, e flight, hangar 9, and hobbico and i mite get this just to fly if i dont feel like charging so many batteries.

  • Man i have one too, how do you land it like that?

  • you have convinced me into getting one of these.

we will see how this turns out LOL

  • same here

  • Thanks! Yeah, the plane is awesome. I'm going to try and make repairs on the plane for as long as possible until I absolutely have to buy the kit. The nice thing is that the plane can take more of a beating with all the tape and the rod than it could before.

  • Very nice piloting. I have one of these too :D. Im trying to find a place to buy a whole new crash kit for it, because ive already worn it out. I love the yellow bee!
