@SaintPhoeniix its mainly relative to the subject, i don't think its too important for the natural sciences as it is to social sciences. i do economics and history and im only actually in uni for about 10 hours a week but if i just applied the learning in those 10 hours i guarantee i would fail everything miserably. Typically you need to match the 10 hours for a pass and a lot more to excel. You need to cement learned knowledge and gain external; dates, figures and subective views.
