it was sweet in ruts or anything rough cause he had it set up for harescrambles and gncc racing. it also had anti vibe steering stem and mounts. with aluminum bars and of course a tether and nerf nars. but i didnt like its power. it jus tlacked power in my opinion and it wasnt stock as u can c lol he didnt tell me all his motor secrets but i no its not stock.

Dont know what dirt wheels that was but my dirt wheels had ktm performing the best because it simply comes with the best engine not to hard to figgure that out. Dirt wheels also favors yamaha almost always. They also stated how the yfz was a little more powerful than the ltr "till" the cherry bomb was installed then it performed right up there with the ktm. LTR450s are designed to have cherry bombs only reason they didnt come that way factory is because it wouldnt be able to be sold in the usa.

well of course if you modify one quad it would be faster than the stock one, i mean all stock, the yfz is still the fastest, and i have raced ktm 450's at el mirage, as well as the polaris outlaw wioth the ktm 525 and the top speed on the 525 is about 1 mph more than the yfz 450 but the yfz accelerates way faster

ive heard good things about yamaha but i never really liked them. Im not saying they r bad becuz obviously they arent. I rode a yfz450r and it was ok but i didnt like way the seat felt or the low end power it had. I also rode a yfz450. it had hpuser +1 a-arms, GT thunder rebuilt shocks front and rear,GT thunder rear linkage, twist throttle, Razor 2's on all for wheels and it had bead locks. motor wise Im not sure wat all it had done. o it also had a GPR steering stabalizer.
