@kageryu311 hey man I have seen alot of guys running single turbos and then i see twins on alot of setups whats the advantages or disadvantages of a single turbo vs a tt application? Thanks

@jgsmitty14 Single turbo setups mean less plumbing and more peak power over an equivalent setup. Twin turbo setups will make more power under the curve though.

@jlj070290 Why should he. A stock LS9 is about $10K more than this setup and can't take as much power unless its forged.

@jake05sti I know the LS9 has forged factory internals. The only thing is the LS9 internals have only been able to tak 850 to 900rwhp. Look it up!

@kageryu311 Well I wouldnt expect it to do that much considering the zr1 only puts 500 to the wheels from the factory. But is that what Rob is expecting out of this setup? I thought it was gonna be the same output as before just lightened up. Regardless, all I can say is a hinson turbo kit is going to find its way onto my 02Z this winter if all goes well.

@jake05sti The setup he currently has will make the same hp as his supercharger setup made but with more torque and slightly lighter all around.

@kageryu311 Oh well then yea.........I guess a Turbocharger it is then! He should make more power with this new setup anyway........in the first couple of DVDs he made about ~ 700+whp (I think).

@kageryu311 how would u run 1 turbo? like i know u can run twin turbos no prob on a v8 or v6 but i dont get do u just run the turbo from one side a run the other 1 back like it was?

@guccamain Like on Supras a single turbo will make more overall power than twins will.

@kageryu311 but on a supra its a straight 6 so intake side exhaust side...............v6 or v8 the intakes in the middle and the exhaust is on the sides

@venomws6 Its a custom turbo setup. And I believe the turbo is a 76mm precision turbo, the same size turbo he has on his Supra. He is using the fuel system, intercooler and mounts that he had from the ECS Supercharger kit on this turbo setup.
