@oellerich007 Congress passed it with a veto-proof margin. So if you're angry at anyone, be angry at them. President Obama signed NDAA, but with a signing statement, and serious reservations.
read SB 1867, section D line section 1032 lines 17-20. it says "The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States."
@MydirtyRat1 so it says that a us military-leader, doing wrong can not be detained?? like many of the political leaders, which have military post in the gov ;)
What is this country coming to? Good to know there are people who call it like they see it (ahem- Fox "News"). Thanks for reporting on the issue Keith. Raha way to represent!!!!
The question I would pose to these senators is, "What's wrong with arresting and trying those accused of being terrorists or associating with terrorist organizations for the crimes they're accused of like we always have?"
I have a better idea, seriously: Pass the law and then declare George Bush, Dick Chaney, Bill O’Rielly, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh and about 1000 Wall Street bankers and wheeler dealers “enemies of the State”. Arrest them, throw them in prison without charges or trial and leave them there to rot. Those people have done far more to destroy our American way of life and our freedoms then all the terrorists combined. Conservatives want tyranny, let’s give it to them.
@dalecs47 I dont like those people either but, how could you fail to notice that the vast majority of democratic senators, I mean even Al Franken voted for this!
1:38 Obama Administration Objects? But yet he signs into law on New Years Eve...

Why does this have no views? This seems like the worst thing that could ever happen in America.

So far (Dec. 13), Keith Olbermann & Judge Andrew Napolitano are only ones who reported NDAA.
I haven't seen anybody else on 3 major networks (CNN, Fox Clown Channel or "Bend Over" MSNBC) reporting this.
Keith was the first one who reported Occupy Wall Street since it began.
His protege, Rachel Maddow of "Bend Over" MSNBC, reported OWS almost 3 weeks after.
I repect Keith as a REAL journalist.
This is #1 important news in the US.
Shame on all the other TV talking heads for ignoring this.
