If Angel is a memory, then what is she a memory of? The director? Or is she the director's self-insertion?

There's a lot of Christian imagery in the end that represents the Trinity: The Director = The Father (God), Roger = The Son (Jesus), and Angel = The Holy Spirit. After all, Jesus does negotiate on our behalf, does He not?

If Roger Smith had memories beforehand, then surely he once knew of the outside world before The Event occurred in Paradigm City, erased everyone's memories and reset the city (and eventually to a point in time where everything could still be prevented.)

Gordon had to be the one who would constantly reset the city so Roger could succeed in negotiating with the Director. Gordon also would create new tomatoes and implant the memories of other people into them after they forgot about The Event

the old man biogenetically created all these peoples and created the city in an attempt to retrieve memories that dont exist because it's a simulation and everything that was created in it was created as-is...

he had hired roger smith to negotiate with the one (angel) who was running this simulation (creating the story)

Originally there was going to be a 3rd season to explain things. Yet, it was cancelled and they opted for an ambigioius ending where people could form their own conclusions.

Honestly, I believe that this is a SPECTACULAR anime, BUT they should NOT make a season 3 to add onto it.

This is because they've already explained the story of Paradigm City. They've explained most of what happened already. To add on would only drag the anime out like they did with most 100+ episode Animes.

This should have been the last season, but it should've been longer so that it'd keep us on our toes more and raise more questions to be answered. (Sorry for Double Posting)

I think that all that should've been answered already inbetween season 1 and what we know to be season 2. Like I said. This anime should've been longer. But I get what you're saying and that's not a bad idea, although, due to this anime already being over once and for all, perhaps a branch-out should be made like maybe "The Big O: Origins" or something like that.

That was the 2nd Paradigm wasnt it? The 40 years prior to what we saw? The branch-out should take place there (Because well.. everyone loves NY. xD) and work its way up toward the great war, filling in the blank spaces off what happened to the very first Paradigm city. Thus, killing 3 birds with 1 stone. =D

Yes, that was the world before the megadeuses destroyed it. We saw Beck the Banker, a human dorthy, and roger the homeless man. But i want to see the events that caused the war of the megadeus to unfold

Y'know, whenever I watch an anime like this I always think to myself: "HOW??!" HOW do these people make this stuff up? How do they dream it all up with such thin theads that end up holding everything perfectly together without any of it falling apart. It's beyond genius, in my opinion. It's GOLD, no, more than that! It's the perfect anime for a mature audience!

They should've definatly have made more episodes.
