I actually really love it ! it has a new sort of futuristic, dirty, funky en heavy sound. I get so much energy from listening to the album and it's just fucking interesting to listen to all the weird sounds and shit !
@youpert9 -yeah i do like it, it was just that initial first few flicks i was a tad disapointed because i was i really enjoyed lambs anger, and this didnt seem to have as many stand out tracks as that, i suppoes you could compare to people being dissapointed with justices sophomore, people were saying its not very good(only really because it was nothing like their first and everyone loved that album) i personally love justices 2nd album tho : )
You did not get it guys, Dupieux just wanted to release a shitty album to disappointed his fans, as he does not care of you (us). This is non sens music. You just got trapped.
@dolioff i dont believe for a second that he does not care what his fans think - thats just his way of dealing with any negative feedback - and i certainly dont think its a shitty album at all -its just not as good as lambs anger IMO, i wouldnt believe everything he puts on his twitter page - he's very good at talking shit!
Mr oizo's new album is ok but i have to admit i was a tad dissapointed .... its certainly not a bad record..... i suppose it depends on your tastes but for me i didnt think it was a patch on Lambs Anger or moustache - sorry quentin - i do prefer his madness with a bit of funk or hip hop thrown in - his stuff works best for my tastes when he balanced out his awkward rhyhms and glitchyness with something that was musical, like the disco & funk samples and cut dick midi jazz bass lines : )
@TheFesta01 - saying that tho i have only had 1 or 2 flicks thro and sometimes his stuff does require multiple listens or even hearing his tracks in dj sets with the contrast of house or electro by the side of it for it to really shine - so perhaps i should have reserved my judgements -
@TheFesta01 I agree. There's a lack of diversity. Some of the songs in "unfinished" felt like they had more potential then some of the songs from the new album. Plus I think Oizo said he has hundreds of unreleased songs.
