Omg you're not even warm yet, and she gives as a example that you can run. that's soo not done! Even I know that and I'm just studying this. BAAAADDD!!!
Well, I personally found this video a little bit sloppy. In the theory she was correct but it didnt show on the movements she was doing. You should do a dynamic stretch in your warm-up, recruting the muscles you are going to use in your main workout. Jogging is not very effective when your are warming up, because theres not alot of mobility from your hips, is more effective to lift your knees (example: doing slow skips instead)
@utelme22 actually she said you should jog in some cases its not running, running is when you run out of breathe easily and jogging requires low stamina which is a good chance of doing it longer than runnng. 8-)
@demonfoxnaruto123 running/jogging is high impact i.e - both feet at some stage are up off the ground at the same time - neither of these should really be done in a warm up esp for a beginner/intermediate. Also it depends on ur pace when jogging/running as to how breathless one gets while doing it - jogging is pretty much exactly the same as running just slower.
