it makes it hard to go rescue floaters in need when you see this shit ive had this shit happen to me and thats why i dont go help floaters anymore they can paddle there ass out
hmm lets see i'm a lazy bastard who has daddy's millions, i have a choice work hard and practice a skill, such as rafting or kayaking for fun or buy a big fast jetboat and run with paddlers where they cannot be seen in wave features... sorry i'm all fo fair fun but jetboats should be banned... they just aren't safe... if your going 40 mph how can you honestly say that you can see and safely avoid a paddler that could be fully engulfed by a feature until your ontop of him...

Regardless, what I think is a great idea is if a jet boat organization rallied up and paid to use this river. Or better yet, put hard work, skill and thousands of hours of volunteer work/funding in place to build their own idea of a jet-boating river. Kayakers had to rally hard to have this built. You want ride on their wave, then pony up and share the cost.

I hope this narrows your course to one side of the river so WE can run it as well. I see this BS on a few rivers. Floaters across the river 6 wide and no where for the boat to go. I wonder if the words "right of way" make any sence to the paddlers. If your to stupid to know there can be a boat coming at some point ..you shouldn't be on the water!

"common sense" would also dictate that it's not the paddlers river...so be prapared for boats. Jet boat event organizers ensure the river is cleared of others, post that an event is in session have people monitoring the river..."common sense" is used..Apparently the paddlers are the ones lacking in "common sense"
knightbearman i happened to be on the kan when that happened your friend their put us all i jeopardy we hade to do a fucken emergency evacuation to the side of the river your friend gave is no warning of him coming down and yes that guy was stupid to through a rock but it should be illegal to be in a jet boat on the kan

The A**HOLE that through the rock should be charged in a court of law. I personally know the owner of the boat and if the rock (cinderblock sized) were to be thrown 4 inches higher he would have taken it directly to the center of the chest or perhaps worse, in the head possibly killing him in the process! It is not against the law to take your boat up or down that stretch of river and he had the right of way given by the people that were surfing and kayaking that were well away from the area!
