  • So much rust free steel....up in Northern Ontario, Canada, you don't see these anymore. Trucks like these rust free are worth a fortune!

  • what is the address to this place i want to go...

  • its just surface rust or just the paints peeling nice vid

  • where is that? state, city, business, street. plz thx

  • @manlymud This was is south Phoenix, and they told me all the cars were crushed, if I can believe them... shame

  • I'll have to go there one of these days, just to look around. 15 years in vegas and I've never been there lol. Did you see any inline 6 engines? I been looking for one for awhile.

  • what was the last year these trucks came with the TH400??

  • @ELDORADOV8PUSHROAD in 1987 it was renamed the "3L80" but was still the same just a different name. In 1991 it was replaced with "4L80-E" which is basically a electronically shifted th400 with an overdrive almost all parts are still interchangeable. hope this helps

  • what was the last year this trucks came with the TH400???

  • @ELDORADOV8PUSHROAD Maybe 1991?

  • Love that pink squiggle? Nahh...

  • Im seeing why michigan sucks ass now. i live in the up. our fuckin 08 models are rustin through. Unless its kept inside and not drivin in the winter(like 9 fuckin months.) your truck will have rusted out fenders and doors on 98 and older.

  • @JakeWeb93 Yup, I saw an o1 Silverado at the local Cheby dealer, flappin rockers!

  • Half those cars probably were stolen lol

  • hey i was at that same junk yard that very same day. i know tthis is gonna sound dishonest but you could walk out of there with some of the small parts that you need without paying for them. all you got to do is put the parts in your pockets. i have a friend that does that all the time (he got a whole wiring harness in a smilar fassion). but yes that junk yard is over priced and is miserable to be at in the summer time.

  • @dieselchevyluv Yea, I know, but I was on a road trip, and they just crush the stuff anyways, but a trip to the cop shop??? Hmmm...

  • @CORVAIRWILD Yeah true it would be a trip to the cop shop but considering its dealing with auto parts and generally customers take their old parts in with them for references, it just makes it that much harder for them to be able to regulate five finger discount of used possible bad auto parts. But you do make a valid point that if you were to be caught you would have a nice free ride straight to the cop shop.

  • yes, all junker Chebooooolays...

  • What a Shame :(

  • I think this guy is a little delirious from the heat :)

  • @flashganargerbarben Me too!!!

  • I had to stop the video; seeing so many Suburbans like mine that were torn apart was too hard to watch.

  • chevy chevy chevy

  • i must drive to nevada and find this

  • Comment removed

  • @CORVAIRWILD hahaha, I need 2 doors driver an passenger

  • that's sad. no rust. man i wish i could go there and pull one out and rebuild it. i rebuilt a rusty blazer. starting with no rust would have been awesome.

  • E-mail thomas.halligan@sky.com

    Many thanks.

  • Corvairwild... Can you help? I want to get a container full of old chevy pick up parts back over to the UK only problem is I don't know where to start. Can you tell me where the best junk yards are? I have a 1946 and love it.

  • GMC Sonomaaa^^

  • @GhettoWollerau They were all crushed, I called them, shame!

  • @CORVAIRWILD I see a late model 70s at 1:35

  • Huuum? All those chevys in the junk yard and most arent wrecked? Tells you alot about how they are built dont it. They fell apart! I tell people "if your looking to by a used car look in the junk yard first" Then go buy whats "Not" there. Low milage unwrecked cars in yards mean reliability problems sent it there. Simple as that! High dollar repairs?

  • @SUPERBWON They ALL end up there eventually... You're Wrongo, dude!!!

  • @SUPERBWON no its because dumb ass`s dont know how to take care of shit

  • there're all junk!!! lol

  • WHAT A F###ING WASTE

  • @MrMattys10 Tell me bout it!!!

  • ha my dad has a coco custioms 94 blazer dont to bad of looking

  • the commentator is a douche and none of you inbred retards can spell.no wonder all junkyard owners are such assholes, you stupid people make them that way, they hate you

  • @1C7Z3H5X What's a douche???

  • are barn door suburbans rare? you seem to make a big deal out of burbs with barn doors. all of the 73-91 burbs ive ever seen are barn door, and my 86 is a barn door too

  • @Texassince1836 The electric tailgate was an extra cost option, but you have to lower the window to get inside the truck, and folks like the quicker access the barn doors afford. I can agree, but I prefer the dropped tailgate for collecting trash, and as a work surface. so I'll take the bad with the good... and folks pass up tailgate models... Fine by me

  • hey man how does it work if you want to buy a car do they give a price or do you just take it?

  • its a shame to see all those chevrolets in the junk yard

  • hay do u get out to orgon at all??

  • i always steel parts from junk yards :)

  • @liveitrough29 Yeah, because this junkyard got bought out, and EVERYTHING was crushed. I called them yesterday

  • @CORVAIRWILD not thats terriable

  • thats a nice plase to buy parts!

  • chughes44 THEN DONT WATCH THE VIDEOS YOU FRIGGIN TARD GEES

  • Easy boy... One of my 1988 GM brochures calls it the ???... Now I forget... sheesh!!!

  • camaro

  • You would think these yards would make more money for selling parts at a lesser value to make more sales..... crazy.

  • Stupid, huh??? My exact thoughts!

  • i want all of them :(

  • its fucking EXTENDED CAB! jesus christ, every video you say extra cab, it bothers the shit out of me

  • Grab a beer... RELAX!!!

  • im sorry.....*opens miller lite*

    wont happen again

  • I'll try correct myself... also one less syllable... keep it simple!

  • where is this?

  • I have a Cheby brochure, and they call it a BONUS cab

  • nice Vid we have 80's Chevy trucks here in New Zealand too they only go for $5000USD

  • Been so long since I've seen one of these trucks that wasn't completely rotted away.

  • Me too, that's why I go out west, just need more water!!! It's DRY!!!

  • ive rebuilding an 87 silverado 4x4 i wish i would have that kind of junkyard in New Brunswick canada!!! real solid trucks

  • Wow I wish we had a rust free truck junkyards like that in Maryland . A lot of those trucks in that junkyard are nicer than the one's on the road hear .

  • in north carolina these trucks are just every day vehicles you see driving down the road...

  • Damn it, i saw about 10 suburban's i'd take the barn doors off, mine are frikin rotten! lol

  • Tell me bout it!!!

  • Wish there was a place like that here in the UK, i need all sorts of bits for my 89 silverado & everthing cost's a fortune :(

  • That sonoma is exactly like my first truck, it was the best truck I ever owned and I only payed 450 for mine and only died when a school bus hit it.

  • I live in Willow Springs NC!

  • Lame video, I dont know why you would post it, but the part I didnt fast foreward was when you said rust free, that sould be the shiznit. I live in the ozarks where things decay at a rapid rate.

  • wheres all the old good cars there?.

oh i forgot. Asshats already squashed them all up.

  • you crazy nut ^-^ lolz

  • hey my 91 Camaro I'm selling had a 700R4 automatic Tranny lol

  • ever come across any raises 1981 GMC Sierras?

  • NS right by the salt water

  • denvernn:

    On older Chevy's, independant front suspension(IFS) means it's a 2wd truck. A solid front axle means that it's a 4wd.

  • not true my 81 GMC has an independant front axle and its a 4wd

  • How do u tell its 2wd or 4wd so quickly? U just walked by and pointed them out.

  • look at the hubs

  • So many S10s!!!!!!

I got a S10 blazer, i wanna go there. Where is that specifically?

  • where in Nevada is this junk yard?

  • Gosh. I'd spend 1 year inside a place like that... just observing history!

    :D

  • i need a crome strip for the back of my cab

  • Ne-VA-duh not Ne-VAW-duh

That makes us Nevadan's mad, just sayin

  • nevawduh

  • wow down in canada where i live trucks worst thenn them are peoples daily drivers

  • where do you live in Canada I lve in Canada and most people aside from the odd hick drive really nice vehicles..... lie myself :P

  • if u really wanted too, could you buy a whole truck?

  • No clue!

  • the car at 5:30 wy was it parkt it dosent look to bad?

  • if i was in that place i wouldent leave. lol

  • Lots of GM's. It was a good move for someone to bring up the issue of quality in American cars, when they were seeking their bailout money. Something needs to be done, instead of just throwing money away.

  • I think i would get lost in all them chevys your lucky in wisconsin were i live you would never see trucks like that in the junkyards there all rotted.

  • Do you like the newer suburbans like the 1992-1999, 2000-2006, and the 2007-present?

  • I like 'em when der OLD!

  • Wow, i coulda gotton a few nice trucks out of there.....

  • Not really,it would be heaven to me :D

  • That Instrument Cluster with the Tach goes for $300 on Ebay I sure take it for $15bucks!

  • I'll have ta go back! Better than the winter here!!!

  • your welcome to come have some crawfish with me in mississippi

  • that gave me my junk yard fix for the week. thank you. i have been restoring the '73-'87/'91 GM trucks for a little while now and its nice to see that there are some that dont need hundreds of hours repairing sheet metal. hard to find in Chicago.

  • I've brought several of these back east. 4Get Rust. I've seen my share! Thx fer lookin!!!

  • junk, junk, junk. man NONE of those are junk. Down in new york every one of those would be rotted, repaired, and rotted again. Im serious. I hate this shit.

  • U hate my comments? Or me???

  • No man, I hate that there is nothing even resembling these trucks over here. So neither one. I just had to junk my k-5 (same as desert dueler) because the frame mount's came through the floor, plus everything else was gone. :( Dumped a fortune into it too.

  • 2 bad I couldn't get it for parts!

  • where the freak is the doctor?!?!?

  • any fords or dodge's there? I want a rust free chassis and body, don't care motor or tranny

  • EVERYTHING!!!

  • the color of my blazer is a pretty rare color for a 1990 too many nice trucks there. if i had the money id buy all ofem lol 81-91

  • i cant believe this, where i live all of these trucks are rusted out p.o.s

  • i work for pnp an the prices are fair.

  • I need Bronco II front axles. Got some? Ship?

  • don't understand why are they expensive?? in So-Cal we have alot of trucks in junkyards too, not as much as in this video, but the trucks in the Junkyard here harely have or no any Rust at all n the prices are great.. Well I wonder how long this junkyard is going to stay in Buisness??

  • You'd think they'd adjust their prices to the customer, but they have the junk. I told a few of them when I called how much a reman was, and they stuck to their overprice. Stupid!

If it's an obscure part, just sell it for any price, especially when you have so many. Certain items, like engines, trannys sell fast, I would presume, but, but.... I tried!

  • $75.00 is too much to pay for a steering box... Here in NEPA you can get one for 24.00 at Harry's U-Pull it, W. Hazelton PA...

  • I agree, I called every junkyard in the LV tel phone book. ALL overpriced. Tried arguing with them, no dice! Stupid to lose a sale, I told them!

  • Sounds like you really know your Surburbans, LOL... Can you pull your own parts in this yard?

  • WOW ALOT OF great car's n trucks, where exactly is this junkyard located, I might just stop by the next time I'm in Vegas.

  • Yeah, to lose a sale is nuts... They got you by the balls.. The cool thing is that the trucks have NO rust, something that's hard to find in NEPA.

  • It was called Pick your part, I have the bill somewhere...

  • did u buy any of the chevys

  • NO, JUST THE SUB IN MY VIDS...

  • Choo Choo Customs -- Chattanooga, TN

  • When they started closing the junk yards in north las vegas and henderson to build houses, the prices at the remaining yards went retarded.Wanted 80$ for a 73 chevy spare rim lol.

  • that choo choo's nice i saw one on ebay a couple of days ago, choo choo's like the king ranch of chevy's if i can find the link to that choo cho on ebay ill post it

  • how do u know of its 2wd or 4wd in like a second??

  • Second? Sorry it took sooooo long. 4x's have a Straight front axle with drive shafts, 2x's have control arms and inner coil springs, like any Chevy car. Sorta' like comparing a front drive car to a rear drive...

  • these trucks were easier to tell for the 4x4 or 2wd. the newer ones are IFS and have half shaft axles so its a bit more difficult. wish i had the money to convert my truck from a 2wd to a straight axle 4x4.

  • diesel...

    ...

    this WAS a diesel :-P

with the amount of trucks/parts there you could fiddle around there for your entire LIFE and i bet you wouldn't get bored ;)

  • I'm tryin' ta get that many!

  • i'd love to have that many truck in my backyard. i'd never need to buy parts again. i don't think my neighbors would like that.

  • seems that you found a chevrolet/ gmc gold mine. i wonder since they don't rust out why there are so many trucks in the junkyard? wrecks perhaps?

  • They need too many repairs, don't sell, so off they go...

  • Mabee you'll see some test mule's...Desert heat no better place to test a teeeruk bro..

  • Made it!!! Ain't no junker/clunker!

  • r u trying to look like elvis

  • Who?

  • you cause u had a elvis looking shirt

  • Slop in a steering box is not a reason to replace it. They usually have a couple adjustment areas.

  • Adjustment is for another function. Worn at the vertical shaft mean JUNK!!! No oil circulates down there, typical GM, everyone's the same!

  • my steering box is leaking slowly so i may end up replacing it at some point. that reminds me i should probably check the power steering fluid level before i leave for work.

  • Nice tires are 1:53.....Betcha they'd get ya some traction in the mud.

  • Holy crap!! That many rust free Chevys all in one spot... Almost scary... Drink A LOT of water out there... Dehydration is a mo-fo... Your vacation will instantly become no fun...

  • I agree, killer, and the snakes will get ya...

  • I never even thought of that... I would be buying those special snake boots that they have in outdoor mags before I went out there... I get too sidetracked looking at cars not to have them;...

  • watch out for snakesssssss
