I had an ACL reconstruction on my right knee. My first 4 weeks physical therapy is based on this kind of excercises. This is a full work-out for the hamstrings and quadriceps based on flexing the muscles. I gained a lot of strenght and motion doing the 3 work-outs a day. Just to proof Scoobys' point, it works! I love this idea, but this requires alot of mental strength and muscular control. most people wont have this, for example me personally am able to do pecs quite well and arms but the rest i am not able to do as i dont have full mental control over them just yet. any ideas to over come this?
how to increase the width of the arms? my biceps are getting peak but they dont have width at all my forearms are way bigger than my biceps, i dont have width of triceps too my triceps are very weak (actually i neglected them first few weeks but i soon realised the importence)so do you recommend me doing tricep more?
@tonebenderv5 The more push-ups and incline presses you do, the easier it is to flex, sometimes without even thinking about it. But once you start doing all that stuff, it's easy to notice that you have that muscle there.
@tonebenderv5 I could flex my pecs a little by just doing basic pushups alot but I really saw results after I started doing the squeezers like the ones mentioned in one of scooby's videos. Like while doing dumbbell flys, try and squeez your pecs when you bring the weights together. Same for pushups and bench (although I couldn't get that squeez on a barbell bench so I ditched them for dumbells. Worked out way better for me) Hope that helps.

I used to be a personal trainer and worked with professional bodybuilders - I can assure you that flexing is an incredible way to get your muscles full of blood. You won't get the same results as weights, but it will tax your system. It will be worse than any fiat based economy, that's for sure. Your next exercise will be PM's - Pumping Muscles. The shine, created by your sweat, will be as good as gold.

my uncle was quadriplegic (technically some of the joints in his fingers didn't work so he couldn't make a fist or anything) but he still stayed really fit swimming backstroke and using resistance bands. no excuses people, no excuses.

Hey, Scooby, I have a question that I've been trying to find an answer to for a long time. Everyone likes to see veiny arms. I can see my veins all over my arms, but they don't pop out. I've got a pretty decent amount of muscle, nothing big of course, but still decent.
How come my veins don't pop out all the time like yours do? When I'm exercising, they pop out all the time. But when I'm done with my workout, they go away and don't come back. Any advice on how to get them to stay popped out?
Hi Scoob. I'm currently recovering from a pulled rhomboid muscle around my left scapula. I've already seen my regular doc but can't get in to see a chiropractor until Nov 1. In the meantime I've been doing some exercises (my doc knows) to help gain my strength back, and your Flex-R-Cise exercises help (though I'm having trouble telling my brain which side to flex..LOL!). Now, How do I get to flex my pecs? I've been working out for about 4 weeks now trying to lose weight through running and weight lifting, but I still can't flex my pecs, lats or any other muscle other than abs arms legs and neck.
@scooby1961 No mean to sound stupid, but I always thought flexing your muscles will make them grow(almost like normal exercise) but you would not gain as much strength and will have "slow" muscles, as in like you can't move them really fast in a short burst.
I think this because a friend I know used to always only flex his muscles and it was the only exercise he ever did, and he had a fair bit of muscle but was not very strong. And was very slow.

Hey, Scooby, I have a question that I've been trying to find an answer to for a long time. Everyone likes to see veiny arms. I can see my veins all over my arms, but they don't pop out. I've got a pretty decent amount of muscle, nothing big of course, but still decent.
How come my veins don't pop out all the time like yours do? When I'm exercising, they pop out all the time. But when I'm done with my workout, they go away and don't come back. Any advice on how to get them to stay popped out?

it's your bodyfat % and your circulation. Cardio + fat loss= Veins
I got them, and they're cool. When you do get them (hopefully), don't get into a knife fight! lol

Hi Scoob. I'm currently recovering from a pulled rhomboid muscle around my left scapula. I've already seen my regular doc but can't get in to see a chiropractor until Nov 1. In the meantime I've been doing some exercises (my doc knows) to help gain my strength back, and your Flex-R-Cise exercises help (though I'm having trouble telling my brain which side to flex..LOL!). And don't regret making this ENTERTAINING video because it is helping out at least one fellow weightlifter. God bless. -John.

Now, How do I get to flex my pecs? I've been working out for about 4 weeks now trying to lose weight through running and weight lifting, but I still can't flex my pecs, lats or any other muscle other than abs arms legs and neck.

@scooby1961 No mean to sound stupid, but I always thought flexing your muscles will make them grow(almost like normal exercise) but you would not gain as much strength and will have "slow" muscles, as in like you can't move them really fast in a short burst.
I think this because a friend I know used to always only flex his muscles and it was the only exercise he ever did, and he had a fair bit of muscle but was not very strong. And was very slow.
Is this true?
