are you saying that an RCBS is just as good as a lee perfect powder measure. I did everything the same for 2 months and i was always getting deviations. sometimes it would settle but i could never get the same results the next day .I used to get deviations in 15 mnt. intervals. I hated that damn thing. I just bought an RCBS and i us Unique and Bullseye. I hope its not going to be the same problem. I hope you are wrong. thanks nice vid.
@84reaper Yes just don't get the primers and powder right next to them. The components aren't giving off any explosive vapor. Just keep them dry and away from any heat source and you're gold.
I almost quit using stick powders. IMR 4350 is an old industry standard. I was using on my .30-06 and .270 win. I switched to Ramshot Hunter and I have loved being able to use the powder flow to do reloading. You are right, I'm off at max .10 of a grain. That difference does not effect accuracy in the yards I'm hunting in (150-400 yrds.... Montana's know for the long shot somedays).
All of my other guns I've switched to a ball type powder and have no want to go back.
Sometimes it can. Where the lee powder measure gets quirky is with very fine ball powders like H110, BL-(C)-2, and WW748. The powder can get inbetween the drum and the body of the powder measure and cause a jamming effect, not to mention a mess. Consistant handling of the Lee is key to consistant powder throws. Thanks for the comment.

@mjmoto72 Coarser powders tend to vary more. If you want super consistant powder thows use a ball powder. Once set...you can drop charges all day.

I think what you were trying to say is that even though the volume is the same, the density is different.

I know. The Lee is really an entry level powder measure. Use the powder trickler idea I have. It's under quick tips.

The lee powder measure does not cut IMR stick powder I have one and it works great. And it cost like $20
