oh this is one of my childhood games, it's awesome! I remember playing it when I was like 5 years old on Megadrive and in my Sega Saturn, it was so much fun. you played it very well. it felt really nice to remember the gameplay once more, it's a pity you couldnt get those last 2 emeralds though.. thanks for making this playthrough!

I love Sonic....i had Sega when i was a kid and actually played it the other day...but now since i have the Wii....I bought the Sonic the Hedgehog game...I wish they had Sonic and Knuckles, i remember playing it and Sonic Spinball. I never tried Sonic 2 & 3. I will soon. I don't know if you remember that Dr. Robotnick was Dr. Eggheads real name, i guess they changed it. By the way your good at this game...i was up to the waterzone trying to catch Dr. Robitnick...but Sonic ran out of air.

Eggman and Robotnik have always both been his names. He was originally Eggman, but when they brought it to the US and some of the other countries, they changed it to Robotnik in those versions. Nowadays Sega has made it so that his real name is Ivo Robotnik while his nickname is Dr. Eggman.

Why are you asking this question? Just because he likes Sonic doesn't mean he hates mario.

I like Sonic more but I also like Mario. He like a lot of other sonic lovers I think love the feeling of speed the games give. Also I like Sonic more of a character then Mario. Sonic also has more of a story too it then Mario but I like Mario's short and simple story's.

what about mario rpg: legend of the seven stars? its vastly superior to sonic chronicles. mario rpg has a better storyline, the characters are not wooden, and the game is really awesome in general.

Well for one thing as a Platfromer Mario and Sonic are both great but Sonic has a way better story the Mario in my opinion. But like I said before that I like Mario's simple story.

Well as a RPG Mario is way better with this. All his RPG games have been good and have a way better story line. I would play one over Sonic chronicles any day because it was pure crap...It messed up the story line more then it already was.

Waiting for Mario and Luigi 3 for the DS its good to be epic. ^^

Wow that was fun watching all 6 of your videos. Sonic the Hedgehog is my all time favorite video game and always will be. There were times I almost yelled to you to go into certain areas for more rings but then realized I'm watching it on YouTube. Look forward to seeing your Sonic 2 videos
