Great explanation!! I have been using Tri Luma for 4 weeks, the dark spots on my cheeks are almost gone. How long does it takes for the melasma to go back, once the treatment is over? I am using "Umbrella" sun blocker, would you recommend a better one?. My skin is very oily and I am a 37 latin woman.

every one is different hard to say. as far as a sunscreen i don't have any recommendations per se.

i really should not be answering if a prescription based product will work on a person's face whom i have not seen before. however, in general, triluma, obagi etc. can work well on hyperpigmentation caused by acne.
