Wonderful, long, deep phrasings and focus--Elvis was 'channeled' thru you.

I was confused over the description-it seemed to say 'German lyrics' but you sung it in English (which suits Elvis, of course--so I was glad to be misled). Also, the final forte--start earlier, build slower, don't fear the cesura (warn your pianist), and then you can go even louder at the end.

Excellent video Phillip. l agree strongly that many bands over-amplify their music. I took my mother to see a fantastic band called Acoustic Alchemy and had to leave half way through because it was so over-amplified that she could not stand it and quite unbelievably, as a loud music fanatic, I could not stand it either. When a sound system is pushed well beyond it's abilities it becomes painful.

Thank you.It was great fun to play with the pianist Alexander. I played with some rock bands etc. and they all played too loud with the exception of the bands who were not amplified and using accoustic instruments. It is no fun for a singer to fight against the volume of a band who should back him up and make him sound good. The drummers are usually the biggest problem (smile) even if my vocals are relativ loud.
