I remember this being the first time I truly saw Marilyn Manson when I was a kid. I remember freaking out and running out of the room. Damn my mom's open-mindedness. It's not that she liked him or the music but she just wanted to see what the hell his deal was and what he was all about and I was like "MOM!!! CHANGE THE CHANNEL!! AHHHHHHH!!!!" Now, not too many things really scare me anymore but sometimes I still find Manson a little freaky but his music is great.

Its called "fry vocals" , sure he does a lot of yelling also and that's not good for the vocal chords, but even with that if you use enough diaphragm you can get away with it. Now he did uses rifles to make said cross but still. In one song performance(love song) he dresses as a bishop. And there are many other examples. Doesn't matter to me whether you like Manson, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but the symbolism in his performance most definitely reflect both sides.

The album Anti-Christ Super Star itself is a parody in name. Initially the symbol included the angels and later lost them on the album/tour art. It is in the same fashion of simplicity (the lightning bolt looking like a modified S from the SS) and color scheme as the Nazi Third Reich for a reason, he blatantly mentions "fascism of Christianity".
