Thanks for your courage Lynn. It took real courage to speak out for the true God and the real gospel of Christ. These poor Mormons are so deceived and confused.
@cindybin2001: Cindy, this depends on how one defines "Christian." If by "Christian" you mean "some group or organization that claims a connection to Jesus" then yes, Mormonism is Christian. But if you go by the historic definition of "Christian" which relies up on the biblical doctrines of salvation, these are all doctrines that Mormonism rejects. On that basis, then, Mormonism is not Christian. By what standard are you saying that Mormons are "more Christian than any other church"?
I just don't understand how someone who was Mormon could possibly believe that Mormons aren't Christian. We are as Christian as you can be! We are more Christian than any other church! You should understand that if you were in the church! I'm a convert to the LDS church--I joined over 30 years ago as a young woman--and I understand this completely! It just amazes me that someone who was a member of the church could think something so untrue!
@cindybin2001 I was a 4th generation BIC LDS raised in Utah. The LDS "Gospel" is not the same Gospel as the Bible and The LDS "Jesus" is not the biblical Jesus. Galations 1:3-9 warns us not to believe another Gospel, even if it is Brought by and angel of light. The Bible tells us that Satan can appear as an Angel of Light. This is a clear warning, from The God who knows the beginning from the end, About Joseph Smiths gospel delivered by the "Angel Moroni".

I just recently converted to mormonism and I did so after comparing and examining the LDS anmd all other pretenders to the crown.. mormonism won out by an immense distanct.. so cindy please dont expect "christians" who get their religion second hand to get any inkling of what we know to be the truth..
@cindybin2001 The problem is that the Mormon Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible just as the Jehovahs Witness Jesus is not the real Jesus. The Mormon Jesus is not the eternal God who took on humanity to die for our sins. He is one of a long line of gods who had a mother and father who also were descended from gods before them etc etc etc. You follow a made up god and a made up Jesus who never existed. Jesus said you must worship in spirit and truth. Jesus is not a cow in India either
Spot on. The truth is always the truth. Mormons have been led to believe that Joseph Smith was a teacher of truth, but instead the Book of Mormon is nothng more than fiction about fictional people. We know this now, we have studied the people who actaully lived in Americas...and they are NOT Lamanites, or Nephites.
@IloveChrist2 I disagree with you i love christ.. Did it ever occur to you that the people that you are studying today are genetically different from the people that the prophet mormon knew and lived with.. Or do you think that the Native Americans have never inter-married.. Ask your self if you are as pure genetically as your great grandfathers...
