  • Hey man I think you added a few too many numbers into the "4 trillion we spent on this crisis" part near the beginning since you didn't take out things like the new deal. It ends up only being around 3.6. Still a lot, not trying to say its a little, but still.

  • It all has to be borrowed before it can be spent. That's what nobody emphasizes. We use numbers created by banks for money. There is no end to the amount they can lend us. If men can create numbers and lend them into circulation at interest against a promise to do future production, men can create numbers and spend them into circulation as a debt-free payment for current production.

Get Free and Brave. Understand the debt-money system and you'll understand the simple solution.

  • I took a look at usdebtclock (dot) org, which had 2 numbers listed:

US Population, and US Income Taxpayer.

The ratio was 3 to 1... meaning only 1 out of 3 people are making enough income to tax. Does this mean that the REAL unemployment figure is 66%?!?

Assume every family is a 2-income family of 4. That means both parents work, and the 2 kids do not. Then the ratio should be 2 to 1. Every family and every single person is supporting 2 more people than they should.

  • Check out this hilarious video of a city bus driving through a flood and knocking over a woman! Muhhahahahahahnomnomnom! /watch?v=mKH42HQGSlY

  • It's good to see less than a 10;1 ratio of likes v. dislikes. It tells me that people are starting to wake up to the economic debacle that we are in. Yes even YOU Keynes fans!

  • Americans need to get their country back, the country was meant to be a place to avoid all this government ignorance.

'Those who refuse to learn from history are destined to repeat it,' 'Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.'

  • Here's how you fix the Problem. Give every Man, Woman, and Teen a Job. We don't need a war. Why would we even allow that? Take a portion of the pay. Take Retirement, Take Medical, and Take A little to give back to the debt of the government. Everyone together in the U.S. Has had their share. Than, lower the cost of living, the cost to go to school and the cost of food. Why are we raising prices? Well, we are not the ones spending all of the money. It's CHINA. Americans stand up!

  • Are we there yet? Totally bankrupt that is... AND yes, a major war or something is probably in the works..... Get ready ....

  • Are we there yet?

  • ARE YOU READY FOR A WAR

  • Why do these damn libtards keep talking about the wonders of socialism when history has proven time and again that it's a failed system which stiffles creativity, competition, encourages dependancy, and is morally corrupt?

  • you're not going to get elected on the campaign of cutting spending, because you are always going to screw someone over dependent on government money.

  • @LIGHTRONIX Well if we continue this we are all going to get screwed over, Americans just need to realize that

  • Stop all military spending now!

  • @moreslaw Yes.

  • I am a certified financial planner and work for Harris Private Bank. I am giving a presentation to our clients and individuals in our community. I would like to include your video in my presentation. The discussion is about making better financial decision to secure a better future. I will not edit the video and will show the credits at the end. My presentation is in 3 weeks. I appreciate your consideration.

  • Are ALL these numbers adjusted for inflation?

  • @TheTubeTimeMaster1 No, idiots have made this video and idiots don't know about such things as inflation. Also, they don't know the word proletariate, or even simple everyday words such as suffering.

  • @RememberTheMemory They said in the video that the numbers are adjusted for inflation

  • Bank of America has repaid $181 billion as of April 2010, so what exactly are you talking about? The bail out was in the form of loans that are being repaid. You are making it sound like money is going out but never coming back. If you get paid back with interest, you preserve thousands of jobs, you create more jobs, and you make a profit, then isn't that just good investing?

  • @tumplerumpatay The "Loans" are very often repaid with money from other government sources, like GM paid back it's loan with money left in escrow...which had been deposited by the government. But there is something even more sinister, when the bailouts are given, the money is raised by going further into debt and the government then owes the money PLUS the interest on that debt. Also, too much money is printed, with the higher inflation, the money paid back is worth less.

  • IS IT TIME?! Go to USRevolution2 (dot com) and get your flag of the Second American Revolution. They were recently all over the tax day rallies in Boston and D.C. They will also soon appear in Bob Basso’s new Thomas Paine videos and on Showtime’s “Weeds” show. They look exactly like the flag of Betsy Ross with a Roman numeral “II” in the center of the 13 stars. This flag is now in all 50 states and spreading from porch to porch. They make great gifts for family, friends and recovering Liberals.

  • ....this video is a GREAT START.

NOW...type in 'The Money Masters" and watch those videos and...GET EDUCATED...ABOUT YOUR OWN...SLAVERY.

THEN....share your education with those around you before the BANKSTERS DESTROY WHATS LEFT OF...YOUR...NATION.

  • Can we have an updated version of this? It must be much worse by now, a year later.

    x

  • Outstanding production.

  • Don't worry. 40 years from now, low birth rates sas the PRC will die of lack of population.

  • The currency is fiat and it's collapsing. Every fiat currency eventually returns to it's true value. Zero. With that in mind, I would think that taking your money out of the banks and investing it in something real like physical gold or silver might be more prudent.

  • Jhon Mc Cain should of Won. Fuck these stupid republicans give money to homeless andshit. I mean peopel with no job its there falt they need to learn how to take care of there self. or they just fucking lazy getting on there ass! FUCK!

  • this is obama's fault. He should have never introduced the stimulus package. It only worsened or country's debt. We need to let the gov't know that were not going to take any more of this ridiculous spending and taxing. Were in a huge hole right now with very little chance of getting out. Our nation is in debt over $10,000,000,000,000. Basically, Obama's an idiot!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome video

  • Its nothing sinister or conspiritorial. No one will be enslaved because the govt is going to take control of health funding. that comparison is hilarious. It wont mean the rise of the 4th riech. It'll just mean that the insurance companys can no longer own the market. If THEY wont provide health for poor people, then we will. We the people.

  • No one enslaved? Then what is excessive taxation if not slavery? Taxation at the point of a gun, mind you. It has already been established that the poor are already covered by medicare and medicaid. Further it has been demonstrated that quality and quantity of care has gone down while costs have increased when government takes over. Lastly, poor people don't buy insurance so it cannot be said they "own" the market.

  • Great video.

  • i notice alot of these health care fruit democrats have a "just do it damnit, just make it happen and ignore all logic and those mean republicans, just get tough and make it happen, now, now, do whats right now, just ignore those fuckers and make health care with public option, " attitude ...well theyr just a bunch of michael moore dipshits that are brainless but pretend to be smart, aw it makes me want to puke

  • @longfootbuddy How the FUCK can healthcare for all, be detrimental.? There are fruitcakes goin around talking about nazism, and it will end 'freedom' (whatever that is)

Get a fuckin grip on reality.

Where would America be without free education for all?

  • Well the US has some of the worst public education in the industrialized world, for one.

  • Yeah I know that, but are you suggesting that education funding be stopped. Close all the schools, fire all the teachers, ? let the free market educate our kids? C,mon, You would have a third world economy , with a privilaged educated elite and illiterate masses. America would be impoverished in a generation, And the same is true for health. A national health programme will lift the nation, and cut out the insurance vultures. And lift the financial burden off employers and individuals.

  • On a federal level, yes, education should not be funded and that money should go to the parents in the form of vouchers, through the states. And no, it is not the same for healthcare. With the most racially diverse population, poor eating and exercise habits, the life expectancy has steadily increased over the last 200 years. Medicare and Medicaid are both FAR more expensive than any initial projections, how would a national plan be any better?

  • @kev3d Y'see I think that health is the most important issue for any human being. And while we should all take responsibility for our own health, its none the less a crime to watch people get sick and die in a country with such vast resourses. Its like leaving the scene of an accident. Or like a fireman not bothered to take an emergency call. Its a governments obligation to provide the most important human service to its people.

  • If that is how you feel then why stop at healthcare? Why not government subsidized homes and food? There are two places where that does exist in the U.S., Prisons and the Ghettos. The "Projects" are synonymous with crime, poverty, broken homes and poor quality, yet they are called projects because they were largely government initiatives. What incentive would people have to take care of themselves when the government will do it for you?

  • Why stop at homes and food? Our souls are more important than our bodies. If the government took over religious activities, it could make sure we all are converted and saved for free, rather than leaving us to those greedy, capitalistic religions. By keeping us on the moral path, government can be sure that we remain free and happy. Our democracy would allow us to fairly vote on the best religion, though everyone would have to pay their part, to be fair.

  • @patrickriday

I'm assuming you are being facetious (not always a safe assumption online) but you bring up a good point. Religions thrive in America mainly because the government doesn't regulate or tax them. Billions upon billions are made, ironically, without a specific product or service beyond the usual blessings or a bottle of holy water. Nations with state religions are often very unreligious, oddly enough. Deregulate health care and you will see quality skyrocket and costs plummet.

  • @kev3d

I just mean that allowing government to steal because something (like health, education, religion) is "important" is not good. First, the thing probably won't benefit, and second, it's still stealing. I do happen to disagree with the educational and health beliefs of the state. Honestly, being taxed to support things I oppose is depressing and dehumanizing. If we all want to share health care or whatever, no one's stopping us. I don't believe in aggression though.

  • Basically, whatever the federal government touches turns to shit. An analysis of veteran hospital Walter Reed Medical center reveals very poor care, rats, overly complex paperwork, overworked staff etc. And what is this about insurance "vultures"? Insurance is, and should be voluntary. And how is a massive tax not a huge burden on everyone? Government interference into medical care has driven up the costs, while other less regulated technology continues to get better and cheaper.

  • @kev3d

Should the tax payer fund ANYTHING. I mean I know the state doesnt run things very efficiently and people are basically corrupt asnd self serving, but whats the alternative. Are you an anarchist,? Dont believe in ANY centralised govt? or govt at all?

  • The alternative is a minimalist government which does nothing but what the constitution dictates. Government should be as decentralized as possible with the highest percentage of tax revenue being spent at the local level. That said, only a small portion of people's money should or goods should be taxed at all, leaving individuals and not the state as the masters of their fate.

  • There we go.

in the carter years, they printed 13% more money, which resulted in 20% interest rates to reverse inflation.

our new president has increased the money supply by 120%.... what will interest rates be to combat inflation on this level? ..it doesnt work, it is all a set up CLOWARD-PIVEN strategy folks

CHECK OUT MY CONSERVATIVE RAP, SPREAD THE NEWS AND WAKE UP THE YOUTH!

  • @zerizzie

Yeah I know. Its all the fault of Obama. Bring back Bush et al.

  • You mean the same Bush who signed the prescription drug bill? A huge and needless program that will further drain the resources of the country?

Obama is not bad because he is different from Bush, Obama is bad because he is just like Bush only, amazingly, even worse on spending.

  • NWO IS HERE!

  • You wish, you fanatical nut.

  • great vid, nicely done, thanks

  • Its keynesian economics that got us into this mess in the first place. Government intervention(Federal Reserve etc) has undermined the market since its inception. Do your homework before making such silly comments. Google Austrian economics

  • Ignoring how ridiculously inaccurate these numbers are, the derivates market is a $600 trillion "industry," and credit default swaps, which helped set up this massive implosion, make up $60 trillion of that, equal to the GDP of Earth. Yes, the money is being spent in all the wrong places, but government spending, when done right under real Keynesian philosophy, is the only way out of this mess. A real Socialist, unlike Obama, wouldn't stand for this.

  • This ought to be required viewing in Congress!

  • Comment removed

  • The federal taxation percentage is right around 35% now. After all of this government spending it is going to go much higher. The Boston Tea Party happened when taxation was 25%.

Our ancestors did not stand for it when it hit 25%. Why are we allowing 35% and in the future higher???? We should contact our reps and senators and tell them to stop!!!!

Tell them to stop government spending.

  • Thi is all pre planned, create a crises, bottom out the Dollar,Raise fear among the people,so most will get in line and accept this Socialistic One World Government!! Not me no sir re!!

  • keep your powder dry sister

  • Maybe the UN / IMF/ World Bank/ Bank of International Settlements will bail us out ha ha ha... FU new world order / one world government. Wake up people this was a generated crisis, with a predetermined outcome.

  • "INFUSION OF MONEY INTO THE SYSTEM KEEPS THE ECONOMY GOING".... flybregy, you are totally buying into the socialist lie of all time! Infusion of money into the system does not keep the economy going- it causes "stagflation". Obama is nothing more than Carter 2. Ignorance is what allows people to think this spear jockey is anything new or 'hopeful'.

  • Socialist one world govt. coming soon to a planet near you. Thanks Bush and Obama, lapdogs to the international money cartel.

  • @DonaldDoggett right, printing more money is causing our dollar to fall.

  • What amazes me is that people who would never let some high-pressure salesman rush them into signing a contract to buy a car, before they have a chance to read the contract, may see nothing wrong with a President of the United States trying to rush Congress into passing a thousand-page bill before anybody has a chance to read it all. People, we are being ruled by a narcissistic metro sexual men's room attendant spear jokey!!

  • Tourist at motel lays $100 on the desk saying wants inspect rooms in order to pick one for the night. Man walks upstairs, owner grabs bill, runs next door to pay his butcher. Butcher takes the $100 to the pig farmer. Pig farmer takes the $100 to feed tsupplier. Guy at Farmer's Co-op takes $100 to local prostitute, She pays off her room bill at hotel, who places $100 back on counter Traveler picks up the $100 bill, states rooms not satisfactory, pockets t money, leaves town.

  • "flybregy- are you a socialist asshole? Stop looking to the government for answers..... get off your ass and at least act like a man! btw- Moore is a fat stupid retard."

NAME-CALLING?!? DO YOU CALL THIS RHETORIC?!?

  • From when Bush was Prez: Since 2001 even with recrd low inflation US fedral spndng has increasd by 28.8% 19.7% in real dollars with nondefense discretionary grwth of 35.7% 25.3% in real $ the highst rate of government growth since the prsidncies of Nixon and Johnson. This resulted in the lrgst budget deficits in US history, an estimated 520 billion in fiscal year 2004. The projctd spndng for 2005 is a conservtive estimte, since it doesnt inclde at least 50 billion for the 2005 cost of the war

  • flybregy, Michael Moore is very fallible.

  • All persons are fallible. Avoid the ad hominem rhetoric. The point is what's happening, what are the results, who's benefiting from which remedies? Do not be bamboozled or frightened by the Repuglican self-serving propaganda that spending and taxation are bad. It's the way to invest in America, not in private greed.

  • We don't have capitalism - we have nothing of the sort. Our country was the most egalitarian ever when we actually had something that resembled capitalism. Now we have corporatism, socialism-lite, militarism, interventionism, etc. If we had true capitalism, we wouldn't have oligopolistic health care (regulatory capture), jumbo investment banks (federal reserve/bailouts), or continuous war. You need to look beyond some guy selling movies and read up on these issues - it all started around 1913.

  • You're right! We don't have pure capitalism because everytime we try to wipe it out, it returns like a serpent to poison the very air we breathe, to rob the Earth of its resources. It was OK as long as the Earth was underpopulated and there was always newer land to go to, but it soon lost its usefulness, and then resisted any regulation at all. whether to keep our water from being polluted by paper mills, or to keep the air clean from the smelters of runaway Capitalism.

  • if you feel the Earth is overpopulated please do your mother earth and pappa obama a favor and go kill yourself.... while your at it please take out a few liberal racist scumbags......

  • Capitalism is economic freedom, and that's very American.

  • What's American is "of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE. Americanism is PEOPLE-oriented, NOT genuflecting to Big Business.

  • If it were up to you obama Marxist apologists we will all be genuflecting to your lord and savior obama.

  • Ad homninem again?! Donald, try arguing substance. What policies do you prefer for the good of Americans? What or whom should we be fighting for? Afghans? Pakis? Palis? Wall St. profiteers? War profiteers? The criminal insurance cartel?

  • What is that your new word for the day? Please think and use a brain next time. It is called a "ad hominem argument". Use spellcheck.

  • flybregy- are you a socialist asshole? Stop looking to the government for answers..... get off your ass and at least act like a man! btw- Moore is a fat stupid retard.

  • NAME CALLING!?! IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL RHETORIC!?!

HAVE YOU HEARD OF ad honminem?

    HOW ABOUT A REAL ARGUMENT?

  • A real argument from an American hating marxist? Yea right- your idea of an argument is trying to cover up the truth that stares you in the face.

  • I see that you really are impervious to argument. You seem to want tokeep it at the level of 12-year olds in the playground.

  • Try to disprove me- you like that piece of shit obummer are marxists. Come to terms with it and come out of the closet. You love big government, love the fact that that obama knows what to do with your money better than you do. Either that or once upon a time some big bad white Republican stole your lollipop and you are trying to get even.... which is it?

  • Much impressed with your cogent thetoric. You know what's what, and are not addicted to slogans, talking points, and propaganda.

    Keep on keepin' on!

  • Yes, the "Banksters", who own many a congressman, are responsible -- with the help of their RepuGlican friends. BUT government spending is the way out.

  • Should we never give a mortgage? or never take an auto or college loan? Should business never borrow to expand? Federal spending is investment in PEOPLE. But if you trust the money-grubbing insurance execs, the stay with them. Vets like me depend on government healthcare; so do millions of elderly.

  • you take a mortgage or a loan beacause you know you can affor dto pay it back of the agreed period. The reason we are in this mess is because banks were lending to people who couldn't pay it back.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think anything short of a revolution by the people is going to change things. Washington D.C. has become undeniably and entirely corrupt.

  • it would seem that in order to save that falling man's life, we would need to keep spending and spending. I liek this video

  • one word for whats coming down the pike...

    HYPER-INFLATION

  • Spending was not what got us into the recession. It was banks selling off their loans which triggered a total mess.

As bad as the debt is, the economic risks of debt as not as bad as the risks of an economy that is not functioning. Hopefully the U.S. government can reform the system in a way that discourages speculation so we can avoid another crisis.

  • You say: "When has the government ever succided anything on this scale? Never" to which I replay that the Democrats successfully prosecuted WWII with massive spending, and then the aftermath with the Marshall Plan that saved Europe from starvation and from the USSR.

  • Comment removed

  • This is mass genocide the likes that have never been seen before

  • There is just one fact Americans need to know about our current health care system. Private health insurance companies make more money if they don't provide care than if they do provide care. That is the most important difference between private... health insurance and government run health insurance. Private health insurance companies are in a financial conflict of interest with their insureds. Government run plans are not.

  • Spend spend spend, spend what the dollar is toilet paper in value China/ India/ Russia etc etc does'nt want US treasury bills. When has the government ever succided anything on this scale? Never!

  • flybregy, What percentage of people who have insurance are declined payment from their insurance company?

  • "genocide"? How's that? Have you no rhetoric to explain what you mean?

  • Alot of people will be homeless alot will starve and these banksters have caused this, trust me this is just begining

  • Outstanding.

  • "For the record, the New Deal + World War II was what got us out of the Great Depression. ."

You, sir, are an idiot. FDR was kind enough to expand upon Hoover's interventionist policies and plunge us into a 16 year Depression. We didn't recover until after we CUT spending. Basic PPF curves demonstrate this phenomena. Learn your American Banking history, and you'll find that major crashes didn't happen until AFTER the government started intervening in credit and money supplies.

  • today odumbass approved billions for 3 new private jets for his senators to travel around the country to promote his socialist agenda. we need to clean house in 2010 and send all of these loserss packing,we are stuck with odumbass but not the congress. we need to make our voices heard bfore we lose our country, the odumbass plan is to collapse America's economy and devistate the free market, he believes in the saul alinsky way and it is pure sociaslism. vote em out now

  • Haha, recent polling shows 39 states are solid blue, 4 are solid red. Good luck with that.

For the record, the New Deal + World War II was what got us out of the Great Depression. So even though the spending is a concern for everyone. It is what is necessary at this moment.

  • Spending is the ONLY way to get out of this mess!

When the RepuGs stopp[ed FDR's spending, recession resulted.

WWII spending got us out of it

  • DEATH TO AMERICA PRAISE ALLAH

  • U Islamic Extremist are PURE EVIL. Believe me when U cross over into eternity you won't be getting 72 virgins. False Religions will surely get your ass in HELL.

    Matthew 7:13

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. "

  • Obama is going to be the straw that broke the camels back for this country...

Moral relativism is the overarching downfall of this country, though, and the liberals are only further perpetuating it.

  • Don't you just love Republican Propaganda?

  • So we should have republicans give more tax cuts to the upper 2%, just like they have historically done under the previous administration which approved many of the first mentioned bail-outs. Right?

  • You criticize the Republicans for giving tax cuts to the top 2%, but the Democrats bailing out the big corporations and top executives is just fine? Obama has now given out far more bailout money than Bush. This government takeover stuff seems to be working well.

And remember, the majority of Republicans voted against that Bush bailout. Remember the vote breakdown. Bush (and McCain) sided with the Democrats on that one.

  • Right, because that TOTALLY justifies the Democrats destructive financial policy.

  • The funny thing is that before obama was elected we didn't have a crisis. 5 months ago it was just a recession, they happen its common, but he used that and the housing market to create the crisis now. With his spending since Jan he created this crisis. Now we can sy this is a crisis, now we're in the shit. Why don't we do anything, we have guns, its time to stand up people. Our govt is laughing at us, while they are spending your money to relax and party. And we are just supposed to take that?

  • Typical dumb anti-republican: you still can't get over blaming BUSH.

The corrupt privatized institutions that now propagate economic oppression have more power than ever. When the collapse comes, I hope you remember you spent your time going after the real issues, like BASHING BUSH.

  • Join a Tea Party or 912Project group near you. United we can stop this.

  • You, sir, fail at economics.

  • Proof?

  • such a great vid

  • such a great vid

  • Sad video. As long as our creditors keep faith in the dollar, and Bernanke keeps his helicopters in check (the two hyperinflationary events), we're facing massive deflation due to these debt repayments.

  • Bernanke has expanded the money supply in an unprecedented way. It's not deflation we need to be worried about. Both massive government borrowing and massive expansion of the money supply lead to only one place--depreciation of the DOLLAR (not prices) which inevitably results in inflation. It's stagflation unlike anything we saw in the 70's on the horizon.

  • aliunde you need to understand that money printing is not inflationary IF the velocity of money and availability of credit are so low. They are currently at 50+ year lows. I.e the money simply isn't getting to the people nor cycling around. In addition, money is being destroyed at a faster rate than it is being printed. For inflation they'd have to print A LOT more money than they are doing. It's tricky to understand, but currently the hard evidence is towards deflation.

  • My undergraduate degree is in economics, so my understanding is pretty basic. Milton Friedman's Nobel Prize was for his monetary theory which linked inflationary/deflationary cycles with the money supply. The Grt Depression was deflationary due to (& to large extent precipitated by) the monetary base being contracted substantially--opposite of the present situation. The lag is roughly 1 to 2 years. You've likely not seen the unprecedented vertical jump in the Fed's M1 base (& other) measures.

  • Yep I've seen it, and am aware of Friedman's work. It doesn't change the fact of what is currently happening is deflation. They can expand the base all they want, if it doesn't get into the economy you won't see asset price inflation. Could we get inflation down the line? Sure - but it's not a given (take Japan's vast money printing + deflation over the past 10+ years). The fed has totally failed to create inflation so far (their attempt at buying treasuries increased yields!)

  • Great video. Thanks for posting.

  • Great video. It implications shows our government has been compromised (and long before Obama came to office). The vast majority of our moneys are basically going to pay debt. In essence the banks can do all the evil they want and then get even more money than in the history of government spending. Wake up people. Wake up and realize we are global slaves to the banks and the global elite who control them.

  • The paradigm? Is that some goofy "theory" some economist wrote for your high school economy class where you get shown if only Socialism was 'allowed' to work everyone would be Euphoric and hold hands singing and skipping through fields of daisy's? LOL! Theory vs. practical applications. Theory's are what dreams are made of, then you wake up to reality, and as tjmobileaudio points out, 1-1 won't ever =2. This is about destroying capitalism and ensuring decades of enslavement to a World Order.

  • Cock88, there's a point in what he says.

Money = Debt. This works through Fractional Reserve Banking.

You should look at this vid: /watch?v=vVkFb26u9g8

It's about how money comes into existence.

    Very interesting.

  • All that money spent- wasted, i havent seen one penny of it yet, sounds like its going into the pockets of the rich elite scumbags.

  • This definitely puts things in perspective.

  • What a fantastic video! Straightforward, simple, and POWERFUL!

    Please share ... and PREPARE!

  • they are doing just what they want crash our econmy and then usher in the new world order

  • Obama is doubtlessly aiming for a NWO and he's shamelessly starting with the U.S.

  • It's time for every American who knows what is going on to stand up and take back our goverment

  • I miss the good old days when poorly managed companies were allowed to fail. *nostalgic sigh*

  • The government is doing exactly what homeowners who bought too big are doing-- it is spending money we don't have at huge interest and expecting future generations to provide a bailout. It didn't work for homeowners. Why does anyone think it will work for a country? I am shocked at how much money we will owe. The borrower is always servant to the lender. Do we really want China (who owns about 47% of our debt now) to rule our future?

  • money equals debt ... understand the paradigm ... more debt equals more money ... you just have to have confidence in the paradigm ...

  • Oh, I get it, 1-1=2.

  • the bailouts happened to be the amount these banks and companies have/had int derivitives....it was financial gambling that caused the nonsense...if we the people have to be broke the banksters should have join us..

  • Perfect. Now what are we going to do about it? Just post text comments or are we going to stand up and fight? "I'm MAD AS HELL and I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!"

  • I might have missed something, but isn't he completely ignoring inflation when talking about the Marshall Help? Because there's a pretty big difference between a billion now and a billion back then.

  • All the numbers presented here are inflation adjusted. The Marshall plan cost 12.7 billion in 1947-1951 dollars ($115.3 billion inflation adjusted)

  • Obama continued the war, continued the spending....

Let the failures fail, when the hell has a U.S. president ever done anything remotely like this?

When has a president told you what to watch or listen to on the radio?

F@ck all the far left liberals.

  • Baillouts are Failboat.

  • a. Why can show to the world what we can see (the reality) but without avail cause we can do just that... not anymore to stop them

    b. AIG i thing catch "some" money for help and that people taked 200.000 money per person...

  • You underestimate the cost of the Iraq war by a factor of 4X.

  • war from iraq and other stuffs are not presented

  • is this video exact? No,

is the point the same? YES

is this some what, what is going on ? YES

is the nay-say'ers making videos that help educate? ...............

  • some problems:

double counting some of the figures and

not adjusting for inflation when comparing to the historical spending.

  • Government sponsored International corporations sound capitalist to you - not Marxist.

    Wow! Nice logic........ not.

  • Homeowners are NOT getting bailed out! That's a lie. Just look at the statistics on foreclosures and that should provide you with the logic on how much they are bailing out the homeowners. It isn't happening! Taxpayer dollars are going to bailing out banksters and huge corporate entities!

  • Does this video keep in mind the inflation that has occured since the last stimulus package?

  • Home foreclosures have only just begun.

  • What's never asked is: WHERE does the money actually come from? (besides printing presses).

Gotta make money to spend it in this case...

  • Spelling lessons for some of you!Get rid of the illegals and there will be plenty of tax money to be spent appropriately....the drain on the health care system is atronomical.I prefer capitalism even if I go under and have to begin again....Better than Big Brother government!

  • buy a gun and its time to stand up and fight

  • Perfect. Now what are we going to do about it? Just post text comments or are we going to stand up and fight? "I'm MAD AS HELL and I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!"

  • I'm not going to argue, we are spending a crap-load of money. But it kind of disappoints me who's funding these videos. If it's a bipartisan issue get some bipartisan support!

The Democrats offered TARP to at least hold us off panic. The spending was necessary to prevent ultimate collapse such as experienced by Asian Markets in 97 & in the great Depression. What do you propose to turn us around? I have yet to hear a very good solution.

  • Oh yeah, for another sense of perspective, the credit default swap market was $62 TRILLION. The drawfs all the numbers posted here. Again the injection by the government was seen as one of the ways to stop catastrophic collapse. So we took the Brits' plans and used them. Again so far there hasn't been any other alternative announced by either besides from doing nothing and letting them fail.

  • In the "by either" I meant from either party.

  • The federal government needs to go back to what it's suppose to do under the constitution.

I might be oversimplifing it, but:

    Interstate commerce

    Foriegn Affairs (treaties, etc)

And when needed; Defense. In other words, Coast Guard, Border Patrol, Military.

We don't need all this crap they are trying to shovel down our throats! Obama isn't a leader, he's Mr. 'Yes' Man.

  • The interstate commerce clause is what statists have used in the past 80 years to expand federal government intervention into everything. Better limit it to civil justice/criminal justice systems and national defense.
