@bulbheadmyass I have loved this song and the Priscilla Herdman album it's from for over 30 years. It's called The Water Lily. There are other amazing Lawson/Herdman and or, Slim Dusty songs on it such as :

The Bush Girl, The Shame of Going Back, Reedy River as well as other songs . Each one is stellar and of incredible beauty . It's in CD form now . DON'T MISS IT .
